It's my first time visiting Medellín as an adult :,) I haven't been here since my quinceañera Coming here was truly a full circle moment for me in many ways. We had a packed 4 days but it was truly worth it. You have to go for yourself to see what I mean :) We stayed in El Poblado at this AirBnb: www.airbnb.com/rooms/47117734?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=95ecf390-9b57-466d-b0c4-0472b8...

For non foodies like me this is still such an amazing how-to guide of how to have an amazing time in Medellín 🤩
Thank you for watching bb 🥰
awesome!! I am making my list! Thanks so much for sharing and happy belated 🥳
Thank you for watching 🥺🥺
German food is mega super none fattening. Great cakes and chocolate too
Yummm
feverishly jotting down notes for my trip
I'd go back for a month to see more lol
Pues no te lo pienses más y ven a vivir a Barcelona ❤👍👍😊
better pretzel in america.. no way...
I went to 4 different places including Oktoberfest to get a warm, soft pretzel in Munich and could not find it. I’m assuming pretzels are done differently in America? Not sure 🤷🏻♀️
Fajardo is incredible
I know 🥺 I'd love to spend more time there
i love your content & channel! i just left my 2week visit, & i miss puerto rico so muchh. i hope you had fun :)
Thank you so much 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 I appreciate that, I wish I was there for 2 weeks instead of 4 days, there's so much to see
Great Video, we actually heading to Puerto Rico in October.
Excited for you! PR is so beautiful 😍
Smh ridiculous😮
Lol ty
Well done not getting a tattoo! Why be another lemming?
I don't know man, lemmings are actually pretty cute 🤷🏻♀️
I've always wanted to try those coasters before, beautiful scenery!
If you ever visit Germany, I'd 1000% do this. Worth every penny.
I heard there is a river Thames in the states that is pronounced like you did, like it rhymes with "James", is that right? Well, the english Thames doesn't rhyme with James, it's more like "Tems", almost rhymes with "pens". I've heard this mistake made by americans before and they blamed it on the american river Thames. 😊
Yes! There's a Thames river in my home state of CT.
@@jacquelinegiraldo Oh really? Well no wonder you pronounced it the way you are used to then, it's correct in your accent 😊
Too bad you didn’t get to any of the great restaurants in London or any of the old pubs
I know! That's the thing about planning so last minute 💀 I recommend doing it but at the same time, there's not enough time to research a new place. we also went to a pub in Camdentown but I forgot to vlog it cause I was so tired 😭
There are many great pubs and you don’t need reservations. For the best of the best restaurants, you’d need a reservation, but midweek you can usually get in for lunch and sometimes dinner if you’re there.
Also, I saw that you were in Shoreditch where there are many great restaurants that aren’t always crowded because they’re further from the business center and touristy spots. I wouldn’t say Shoreditch is like Brooklyn though (I’ve lived in both neighborhoods), since it is a neighborhood and not an entire borough- maybe Williamsburg and Shoreditch have some similarities
Yes absolutely! I'm sure there are plenty of great restaurants but with the limited amount of time we had for planning and researching and wanting to explore as much as possible, we weren't able to check out more restaurants. I'm not sure if you ever been to Bushwick, Sunset Park, Crown Heights in Brooklyn or parts of Queens but Shoreditch definitely reminded me a lot of different parts of Brooklyn except English lol I'd love to go back to London with ample time and eat as much as I did in Barcelona 😌
@@jacquelinegiraldo, I know all those neighborhoods well to very well- I live in Bed Stuy for about three months a year. Williamsburg is most like Shoreditch, Dalston is most like Bushwick, Stamford Hill would be comparable to Crown Heights or Boro Park or East Williamsburg for that matter, and I guess you could say Bethnal Green is like Sunset Park if you swap the Mexican and Chinese populations for Afghani and Bangladeshi.
Thank you. Am gonna be there May 1st week.
Hope you have a blast!!
@@jacquelinegiraldo i did....what a mystical n naughty place . Love to be here again again...again.
Very nice
Thanks
@@jacquelinegiraldo you are very welcome 🙏✨⭐️
Your smile prolly puts people in a good mood. Enjoy your week.
Thank you!!
If anyone cares, you pronounce 'Spitalfields' the same as if you'd 'spit' at someone. Not like 'spite'.
Great video 😊
Thank you 🥰
bravoooo!!!
Thank you 🥰
Bravas 👏
Brava
It’s pronounced spit-al-fields, not spital-fields. I thought I’d just let you know 😊
Noy-schvan-schtine .
Loved your video edit.{ wish to learn how to-Any Suggestions}? Glad you enjoyed your time in London.
Oh thanks 🥰 I use wondershare filmora to edit. I don't really have any tips, I kinda just figured it out on my own or if I couldn't figure out something, I'd look on RUclips for extra help. I feel that Filmora is pretty user friendly and it was easy for me to get started but took a while for a me to figure out my editing style.
Cool. I am leaving St. Louis for London this Saturday. 2 weeks every year.I am probably most excited that I upgraded my seat this year. So tired of coach! Last two trips clock tower (big ben) was silent due to renovation. Can't wait to hear it next week!!
Have fun this time!!! Lmk how it is 🤗
Have u been to Paris?
Nope! But it is another place I'd like to visit!
Look like late September
The London bridge between the one the falling down song was about and the 1970s version there now. Was also starting to sink into the mud. It was bought and transported to Lake Havasu city in western Arizona. As a tourist attraction. It is better looking than the new London bridge. There is also a false story that when Robert McCulloch bought it he thought he was buying Tower Bridge. He came over to negotiate the price and see the bridge.
Portobello Market is one you missed But you covered a lot so 👍 Ignore the pedants 👍
Thanks 😅😅😅
okay beeline for Duck Soup
Basically 🤷🏻♀️
i like ure energy ! keep going girl !
I definitely am 🤗🤗🤗
great video ^^ keep going girl !
Thank you so much 🥰
I want paella
Next vlog 🤷🏻♀️
THE London Bridge that was falling down was replaced in 1831. It’s not surprising it was falling down because in 1831 it was six hundred years old.
but History is boring.. supposedly
Yeah 🤷🏻♀️
You don't care about history, but you care about art?!! Surely a contradiction in terms borne out of a lack of education? Art and history are inseparable. Art is a result/symptom of social/cultural/economic history, which contextualises and gives art its meaning. If you're ignorant of history then you don't understand the full meaning of art.
I don't disagree with you on that! However, I guess I should have explained a bit more. I'm more of a visual person. Seeing something helps me understand what was going on at that time, how an artist interprets what's going on or how they feel about what's going on. To add, I also had an American education where I learned the about the same historical events year after year.
"I'm more of a visual person". Vacuous/meaningless reply that excludes erudition. I'm a professional artist as are most of my friends all of whom have a vast knowledge of history and how it shapes/informs art. To quote Mark Twain.. "It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."
@@daubreyjaneweirdsley shut it
@@daubreyjaneweirdsley I'm a historian and this reply is annoying. No one thinks you're cool sweetie, stop bullying people online for not having the same interests as you.
@@jacquelinegiraldo I just stumbled onto your video and darling, don't worry about this troll. I've dedicated my life to studying history (American, but falling in love with it in school is solely dependent on your teachers and I happened to have amazing ones). Did you know that 90% of Americans post high school only interact with history in museums? My advice, if you aren't put off of historical learning forever by random meanies on the internet, is to find a local museum that peaks your interest and see if you connect with any of the subject matter inside. It works the same way with art, you'll love some, you'll hate some, but you're sure to come away with something! Also, your approach to history through art isn't wrong at all considering art history is a whole ass profession. Please ignore this sad person who makes their lonely life feel less crappy by using bIg WoRdS on a video. You do you.
Cool, Duck Soup does look amazing.
Duck soup was thebomb.com
So does Groucho.........
That was charming quite charming, thank you, Love from a Londoner
Aw dude 🥰 thank you so much! I really wish I could have seen more of London outside of the touristy parts but guess I'll have to go back at some point! 🤷🏻♀️
@@jacquelinegiraldo Please do come back there is so much to see and so much of it free, enjoy your future journeys
Which month did u visit?
September!
pussy ?? hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa Feier ich ! :)
german 🥨🥨yummie, sorry the original okay maybe not on the Oktoberfest
German cuisine is very divers. The problem that we have is that most people only know schnitzel und pork knuckles, like many think that americans only eat hamburgers and Hot Dogs 🤣
Yes! I've heard that food in northern Germany is much different. I just felt that places we googled in Munich had a lot of of the same food. Pork knuckles, potato dumplings, etc.
@@jacquelinegiraldo you really should not follow Tourist guides... They give you only the food tourists love... There is so much more nice meals you could have tried... If you look videos from Americans living in Germany nearly all of them say they love the variety and quality of German food. Sadly you seem to just eat the Standard Bavarian Fastfood. You can great food in Munich too, just ask locals the next time and tell them you not want Schnitzel or Pork, they will help you find something can't
Don't disagree at all! However I went for a friend's birthday and he had an itinerary set up and we mainly went to Munich for Oktoberfest 😅
💙 💜 💙 💜
what is this??? dumb and dumber??? Swiss Alps near Neuschwanstein????
Wow it looks amazing out there!
It was 😍😍😍
There is Life BEYOND Oktoberfest....!!! We normal Germans buy Beer at 0,49 € a Can...0,5 Liter At our local Supermarket. "OktoberFest" is for rich Idiots. they pay up to € 13 for a Liter of Bavarian Beer...
I'm not much of a drinker myself so can't relate to paying for alcohol but I can see why that's frustrating to increase the price of alcohol significantly
Have partied in Berlin quite a bit but never been to Oktoberfest - Jacqueline the Pretzel Queen just changed my itinerary!!!
I'm hoping to party in Berlin! I loved Oktoberfest but not fully my vibe as I'm not much of a drinker but I'm so glad to have experienced it in my lifetime
Love your vlogs
I want to visit
You absolutely should!
Dang a beautiful country
