Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka'an 2023 PENTHOUSE Room Tour and Resort Walk Around
We went back to the Sian Kaan at Halloween and upgraded to the Penthouse Suite. It was worth it!

We traveled to the Sian Ka'an May 2019. Loved this resort! Great food and service We took a day trip into Tulum to see the ruins, went to a Cenote and had a Snorkel!
Sunscape Puerto Plata DR April 2018 - Sun Club Upgrade

We went to Sunscape in POP April 2018 from Toronto during the Ice Storm. We were delayed more than 24 hours at the airport. John and Christy cancelled their trip while we continued. Updgraded to the Sun Club Adult Section. We did the Catamaran Tour which included Snorkeling and a Lunch We were sick most of the trip but managed to get some footage!

Stayed at Iberostar in Puerto Plata May 2017 Beautiful resort with great food and drinks! Took a tour of Puerto Plata, Brugal Rum Factory, and went to Mount Isabel de Torres via Gondola.
Villa Iguana - Cayo Largo, Cuba

7 nights at Villa Iguana in January 2017 Weather was very windy and not very warm but we survived! Waves were crashing all day and night. Must have been the time of year.. but beaches are Beautiful. Villa Iguana has great service, rooms are old but very clean! Buffet is small, so repetitive. I recommend if you just want to go for the beach and some downtime. Inexpensive way to do it!

Our trip to the Luxury side of Grand Bahia Principe in Jamaica May 2016. We had a great time at this resort, very clean, the food and service was excellent. Recommend the Luxury side!
Sol Pelicano, Cayo Largo, Cuba

This is our 2nd time to the resort Sol Pelicano. Perfect time to go in November, when it re-opens! Not very busy and the weather was very humid and hot for this time of year! The staff are so friendly, the food is good, the beach is amazing! Sunsets every night! Every night we had thunderstorm clouds appear in the distance but was always sunny the next day. We will probably go back again!
Cayo Largo, Cuba - Catamaran Tour and Sea Turtles !

2nd time in Cayo Largo and decided to take the Catamaran Tour! Full day of touring around Cayo Largo with lobster lunch included. They took us to Iguana Island, Snorkeling, and to a Natural Pool. Best Snorkeling I have done in Cuba so far...and that says a lot. Bring sunscreen, not much shade on this small Catamaran. Later that week we released baby Sea Turtles into the ocean! So cute and so mu...
Looks so lush,the only thing I'm a bit concerned about are the spiders, ha we are from the UK so get massive ones ha

This was the first video where I see that the trolley to the big beach takes you to the end. We are seniors and have booked for the luxury side in November 2022. I have a question does the trolley pick you up there as well when you leave or do you have to walk down to the start of the beach. Your video was awesome.

yes, I would say so friends of ours went after us and they rented a car and ate at a local place on the beach
If you went to the Cenote was the swimming required? I really want to go, but my fiancee doesn't like water or tight spaces, so it's a no from him!

Great video! Puerto Plata is one of the most beautiful cities in the Dominican Republic! I can not wait to be there again(I was also in the Iberostar Hotel). Greetings from Switzerland P.S. I also just uploaded a video of my trip. :)

Hi The food was okay The Buffet was kinda small and plain The A La Cartes are way better
I would suggest the Iberostar to be honest ;) The food was really good there and nice resort overall and we didn't have to upgrade!

Das Hotel war wirklich super :) Wir könen es nur empfehlen. Das Personal war sehr nett, alles war sauber und das Aktivitätenprogramm war einfach nur toll. Viele Aktivitäten für Erwachsene und Kinder! danke andres

Wow, you guys sure looked like you had a blast! Seems like you went off the beaten path a bit too. BTW, I saw a "review" video made by a vacationer to another similarly rated resort (she went in 2016) and in it she had two main gripes: 1. "Locals" pretty much taking over the resort on weekends 2. Significant harassment by beach vendors ... according to her 5 minutes wouldn't go by without someone accosting her and family with something for sale? 3. Some harassment by time share vendors as well? Have you guys experienced this at this resort?

Ok cool, thanks for the response ... better late than never. :) We don't leave til July so Im trying to learn as much as I can so we can have as smooth an experience as possible. Hey just had a thought. How's the bug situation there at the resort? Mosquitoes? Can't stand sleeping at night with mossies buzzing around! Im originally from South America and if we didn't sleep with nets those suckers would carry you off! lol!
C Moses Hey how was your trip there last year? Did you go? We just got back and we got significant harassment from the beach vendors, asking us every time we go on the beach if we want to buy something, even if we said no to them yesterday. Also the time share vendors got irritating too! A lot of the resort workers were really nice and great though!! I got a long awesome with them. Also there were barely any mosquitos.
They're poor people so this is how they earn a living. So I'm sorry if you feel harassed but these people are starving. Jesus. You can say no, but the way you complain about them is stupid. In all tourist spots you will get hustlers, Atleast these people are selling something.
Hi Trish, nice video. the resorts looks amazing, but how would you rate the service? would like to try a different resort than the one we went to in 2017 which was Riu in Ocho Rio, which was not bad at all for us... but wondering if we should book here for our next trip...
Hello, thanks! The front desk and Butler service was great! We got great service during lunch under the big tent! We noticed it was off and on at the Dinner Buffet and A La Carte The evening service was a bit slow for drinks etc This was all on the Adult side mind you, not sure about the other side.

Hello. How do you get to the end of the beach? It looks like you had to go far to get to the nice clear part. If the guy in a cart brings you down to the end, how do you get back lol? I don't want to book if we can't get to and from the nice part of the beach everyday. Thanks 😊
if you're booking the Luxury Adult side you can call for the cart to take you and ask the people at the other end to send a cart to take you back! The beach is nice all along, and you can walk it, it's not too far if you walk along the grounds. We just decided to take a cart that day, and it takes the long way around because of the road.

I think it's only for the Luxury side because the other side is pretty close to the beach

Hi, Beach is okay 7/10 We spent more time at the pool. We usually go to Cuba or Punta Cana, and I would say the beaches are better there
