Art History Talk with Rebecca Albiani - Tina Modotti in Mexico
Hello Tom, Fantastic work. As a native Tamil speaker, I always felt Thiruvalluvar was a caring friend/gentle mentor who is always there for you with his wisdom. You have captured every nuance of the original work - profound thoughts, concise sentences, perfect words, brilliant play of words, and exquisite poetry. Your ability to observe the culture and language is terrific. I can clearly say - you have experienced Thiruvalluar very closely. For the excellent presentation, I can only quote Thirukural கேட்டார்ப் பிணிக்கும் தகையவாய்க் கேளாரும் வேட்ப மொழிவதாம் சொல். Speech should bind the listener and make those who haven't listened to desire. Thank you!
Thank you very much for your kind words. All good wishes to you!
I am on the edge, but I feel it will get better in two years
Thoroughly enjoyed. Think i may buy a lottery ticket next week....perhaps i may then be able to aquire one of these fantastic works of art.🙄
Gryaznov is a totally underrated musician and composer.❤
Found this interesting and informative, great helpful techniques also...
Thank you for this fascinating discussion on portrait miniatures! I work as a theatrical scenic artist, which means that my craft is about as opposite as possible from these painters. Where theirs is tiny and precious, mine is massive and temporary. And yet, I’ve always taken so much inspiration from the Tudor portrait miniaturists.
Thanks for the great video on portrait miniatures! One question I have is are the miniatures covered with glass or something else to protect the painting? Thanks very much!
why are people not working to make society a better place, then most suicidal people would never have had the thought in the first place. Having spend hundreds of hours with so say professionals, I now see how foolish and ignorant these people are. So much of what they say is nonsense - at best it is like taking aspirin for a brain tumor I guess better than nothing. I just think it is shocking, how the first speaker.. is ALL ABOUT HIS LOSS.. never any consideration as to what his son was feeling - just how sick and pathetic is that.. so it is clear to me that these hypocritical people ARE THE PROBLEM THEMSELVES. Just how sick are these people. And now you have these people "steeping forward' in suicide prevention - THIS IS ALL ABOUT THEM !!!!! if I was his son, I can imagine plenty of reasons why he would wanted to have committed suicide. THIS IS PATHETIC.. I can't listen to anymore of this BS
guess whoz back (i don't know if it's whose ore whos or who's so it's whoz)

This video brought tears to my eyes. I am a Thamizh girl, who should be promoting Thiruvalluvar's great work to this world like Thomas. But here I am living a meaningless life because of my insecurities and lack of guts to follow my passion. I greatly appreciate you Thomas for your priceless effort and contribution for this translation book 👏👏👏
My heartfelt thanks for your appreciation and kind words. All good wishes to you. 🙏

It would have been great to see close ups of the plate and print, however I do realise it was for a live demo, not a camera. Thank you for the demo.
Why she look like she got big off the pig. Looks like she’s not Affected by rising grocery prices. Fat of them donations. Poor black folks got skinny and homeless. BLM stands for Buying Luxury Mansions. Make no mistake about it.
Patresse Cullors hates Masculine Heterosexual males and is against any kind of Patriarchy and nuclear family. She supports sodomites and reprobates and degenerates.
non-profit industrial complex ? 1st off there are 3 different non profits and 3 women stepping down shows there was no accountability and having plenty donations from major corporations which some have stepped down . You are being looked at since the only thing you did was a greenhouse and interviews and nothing for families and some of your leaders took from the covid pay and houses and another with wanting to murder an elected democrat official Y'all are going down and deserve jail time
1st off she said she's triggered by the 990 when all non profits do so and have had scrutiny if it wasn't used where it's needed , also SFV isn't 818 it's been 323 for a couple years ! Also , buying 4 houses in certain areas and her wife getting one in Canada and then deleting her RUclips since she's been getting called out ! As we continue, BLM never gave money to families and some never wanted BLM to represent, then we look how they gave money to DNC and had ANTIFA involved and admitted to being a MARXCIST yet half of you are still praising her and the other 3 cons ? wow!!!
One of the nations biggest voices that buys expensive homes by running the scam of BLM. ALL LIVES MATTER
Shame shame shame...the Liberal Dummycrats have put mental shackles on the people of color and placed them in a modern day plantation. Smh
Triggered to hear 990? Ok so guess you're off the hook of all fiduciary duties because you're black? BLM is a grift, pure and simple.
This isn’t a good look for BW protecting a fraudster no matter what.
There isn’t even one comment posted here supporting the idea that the IRS weaponized their 990 tax form against black owned 501C3 charities. Thank goodness the concept isn’t widely touted because the form is required for everyone who takes money from the public for a stated purpose.
VASHON CENTER FOR THE ARTS AND ANYONE HOSTING THIS DESPICABLE FRAUD...YOUR REPUTATION IS NOW IN THE TOILET AS WELL. The fact that Vashon Center for the Arts allowed this selfish, narcissistic and despicable human being to make excuses for her fraud, lets everyone in the country and across the globe know that this is who Vashon Center for the Arts really is. DO NOT DONATE TO VASHON CENTER FOR THE ARTS as it is extremely likely that Vashon is in complete alignment with the THIEVING SELFISH LYING VALUES of Patrisse Cullors and her cohorts. What is Vashon Center for the Arts doing with money that's been donated towards THEM? VASHON SHOULD NOW BE INVESTIGATED AS WELL. Anyone associated with this fraudulent organization should be investigated...Thoroughly. It's obvious that Vashon Center for the Arts put their stamp of approval on Buy Large Mansions narcissistic and fraudulent behavior. How could Vashon actually partake in this travesty and act as if what Patrisse Cullors has done is somehow normal or that Buy Large Mansions should have no rules and not be required to follow any laws when it comes to accountability and the tens of millions of dollars that were stolen and still unaccounted for... RULES FOR THEE BUT NOT FOR ME. Cullors literally capitalized on the grief of mothers of dead children and then refused to even help them with basic funeral expenses. BLM...Buy Large Mansions has done the greatest disservice to people of color. They've stolen money not only from wealthy corporations but they have stolen money from people on disability and limited incomes who believed that they were actually supporting an organization that cared about them and black lives. Apparently Cullors only cares about her own black life and the black lives of her girlfriend, her mother, her sister, her family and friends. Why would Patrisse Cullors need five mansions? How many schools could have been built or refurbished and funded instead of buying fancy real estate in predominantly white neighborhoods? HOW MANY CHILDREN COULD HAVE BEEN FED? HOW MANY BLACK BUSINESS OWNERS COULD HAVE BEEN ASSISTED? HOW MANY BLACK EDUCATIONS COULD HAVE BEEN PAID FOR? But Patrisse Cullors NEEDED 5 MANSIONS? This is one of, if not THE MOST disgusting frauds ever perpetrated against the American people and particularly against people of color and the communities that donations were intended to serve. THE PRICE THAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND OUR COUNTRY HAS PAID FOR THIS HOAX..THIS FRAUD...WILL TAKE DECADES FOR US TO REPAIR AND UNDO. THE DISTRUST, THE HATRED, THE RACIAL DIVISION, BURNED OUT CITIES AND OUR NOW SERIOUSLY DEBILITATED LAW ENFORCEMENT ORGANIZATIONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY, WILL TAKE MULTIPLE GENERATIONS...TO REPAIR. THE GREATEST TRAVESTY...THE GREATEST DAMAGE HAS BEEN PERPETRATED AGAINST THE TRUST OF HER OWN PEOPLE...PEOPLE OF COLOR. Shame on Vashon Center for the Arts for condoning this THEFT and the multitude of pitiful excuses that were offered BY PATRISSE CULLORS AS SHE SAT ON THAT STAGE AND WALLOWED IN HER OWN SELF-PITY BECAUSE WE, THE PEOPLE, DARED TO ASK HER TO FOLLOW THE LAW AND BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR MONEY THAT WAS GIVEN IN GOOD FAITH...and Patrisse Cullors just thought that was way too much to ask and it "TRIGGERED" her. Despicable and pathetic.
Ever heard the adage: 'You can't take it with you'? I believe that applies with money when an individual goes to jail. : ruclips.net/video/KmhVApUih1o/видео.html&ab_channel=LiberalHivemind
How nice of the 'Victimizing' White Progressives to be grandstanding a genuine Hate Profiteer and scam artist like Patrisse Cullors! Malcolm X heavily warned Blacks about the disguised Racism of the White Progressives and he was 100% right! Cullors is a human maggot and so are those White Progressive Narcissistic Monsters who try to prop her up. I'm going to sick right now.
Yeah yeah yeah, everybody's trying to get me because : Racism. We heard that plenty since you came in. She's a criminal and a cult leader.
90 million dollars unaccounted for. 6 million dollars spent on Patrice Cullors private mansion. What kind of non profit organization does this? BLM has been a organization since 2013 and they never "knew" about the incredibly standard 990 tax form? Literally the same tax form that every non profit in the United States is required to file every year? BLM might go down in history as one of the biggest scams of all time.
What an evil WITCH 🧙♀️ she needs to give that blood money back and go to prison!! Such a grifter and she needs to be homeless again
People are so racist these days. BLM can't even buy some houses with the money donated to them without being criticized.
Cullors is a mother, has a child, has four houses, has been on tv shows and somehow she is "triggered"? Why is she still speaking like a little girl? If she actually cared for her community she would live with them. Instead she moved to a 98.5% white community. This woman "Hey I am in the spotlight!" "woah, how dare you put so much attention on me for being in the spotlight". As a marxist she should know that Harriet Tubman was actually quoting John 14:3 "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. " For possessing a Master's degree she should be educated and aware of such thing for following a political system that doesn't believe in God. Anyone who read Animal Farm knows that Cullors has become what she despises.
BLM is as racist as it gets, how is a Black life more important than your fellow humans?? All Lives Matter not just black ones…….
To have a "friend" developer buying a home for 2.5 millions approximately and selling it to them within days for 5 millions approximately, how do you call that? She surely is a well trained communist!!
She has done more damage to black communities than thousands of white people put together.
B latant L ying M anipulator
So many big fancy words from a REALLY DUMB person ... leading a 501(C)(3) tax exempt organization ... AND ISN'T AWARE OF THAT SECTION OF THE TAX CODE??? No doubt her ignorance is a product of white privilege/ supremacy! Seriously, this somehow MUST be blamed on, "THE MAN."
Looking forward to seeing this scammer and her accomplices serving long prison sentences.
Proving once again that virtue signaling is nothing but an expensive hobby for foolish rich white people.
Massive fraudster you've been had..
Fantastic :))) thank you very much for your lesson - cant wait, to do this, i am shure i will have a lot of fun ♡
That opening Monteverdi was so sweet. Gorgeous.
Where is the repertoire written?
"Magic" was the first word that came to my mind too!
¡BRAVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...!
No audio on your stage presenter.
It would be great to have someone add subtitles of the questions as they’re inaudible. Great demo, and explanations though, thank you!
Good inspiring message Steffon. This bit could be rewritten, amped up and brought up and out. Oh, sorry, is my East Coast, doling out unsolicited advice gene kicking in? Sorry, It's not that I don't know better, just that I refuse to change.
A great human being!
