In Luke9:28-36, Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God was not talking with the triune god, He was talking with the Father, the only true God, John 17:3) and with Moses and Elijah.

What we think about Jesus is not sufficient. " And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ." Luke 4:41 The most important thing is the relationship with establish with Jesus Christ who is the holy spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:17

What do we do regarding Luke 9: 28-36? We do exactly what the only True God (John 17:3) commands us to do. The only true God (the Father alone, not three Gods, not the triune God) says "This is my beloved Son: hear him". What the Son says is his doctrine. “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.” 2 John 1:9
