Voltric and Astrox are head heavy series, meaning the balance point on those rackets are more than 300mm which will be head heavy. Nanoray Series are head light. On papers the Nanoray 18i mentions more than 300mm, but I can confirm that this racket is NOT heady heavy it is Head Light. How to choose the best racket according to your skills? 1. The weight plays an important role in the Racket...the lesser the weight the better you will be able to control the racket for defence. But DO NOT go less than 77 or 78 gms. 2. If you like playing aggressively, hitting smashes in the court and defence then go for 78 gms weight and head heavy racket. Because the racket is head heavy, you will be able to deliver good smashes and be able to control due to its weight. With head light you will have to generate more power to hit those powerful shots, totally depends on your skill level. The head light racket offers better defence, placement and depending on your skill level you can hit those smashes as well. If I were you, I would choose Voltric 47i as it offers Head Heavy, 77 gms and a flexible shaft.. flexible shaft will create a whip like effect to deliver powerful smashes, but lacks accuracy, keep that in mind. 3. If you choose a racket that has 80 to 84 gms including head heavy and a flexible shaft... You will be able to deliver more powerful shots but due to its weight you may find trouble in handling, control or defence. For that you have to obtain and level up your skill level meaning...you must have a minimum 3 years of playing badminton in order to play with those rackets. There is absolutely no point in taking a superior and mean tone because the beast is worried or even frightened but will not understand in any case unless you catch it in the act.

I generally don't play singles, mostly doubles. This is a head heavy racket, the balance point of this racket is more than 300mm meaning Head Heavy Racket. This is generally good for playing doubles and hitting smashes. I also have Arc Saber 11 Play but I find this racket to be better than that. For defence this may not be a good choice as it requires a good amount of skill level. The weight of the Racket is 83 grams and the shaft is medium flex for control and precision. It's not High or stiff flex.. medium flex is a combination of High and stiff flex offering better accuracy than high flex. Stiff flex offers great accuracy. The maximum tension on this racket is 28lbs and I would advise you NOT to do 28lbs. 26lbs on this racket is perfect. Three things to keep in mind before selecting a racket, 1. Weight of the Racket 2. Balance point (meaning) head heavy, even balance or head light, 3. The stiffness of the shaft. More the weight of the Racket, difficult to maneuver. This racket is designed for players who like to attack.
