300 alch is the cheap buff for 25 shots. 320 alch makes the buff worth 25->40 shots. 301 alch throws the potion more often (good if your buffed tower attacks slow). 420 alch is only a slightly stronger buff (55 shots), but it can buff TWO moderate attack speed towers if you set it up right.

perishing potion increases number of shot buffed by 15 so you're right its a major buff for tier 3 alch (25 to 40). Chom Chom made a very detailed guide for alch buffing I suggest you check it out

Dont put the pickles on crossbow master, the trade off from attack speed to damage isnt worth it when the tower deals more than 4 damage which a lot of tier 5 do. Idk maybe smth got changed but correct me if im wrong

Its fine that primary expertise doesn't do much damage considering its still the reason you won that with the towers you did. Having decent damage while also buffing tower's damage/camo detection/attack speed/attack pierce/price. I would personally say that it works perfectly. though I like using it with a tackzone, It synergizes well
