What is the work around if you don’t want to be a tech for a year to get your CA license? Is there another way to get it without partnering with someone who has it. Is it possible to get one in another state and transfer it over to the state of Texas?
@@TheD2dguy honestly I couldn’t tell you. Everyone I know and know of was either they themselves in the industry or partnered with someone who was and worked under their license. I don’t know much about transferring from state to state either. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

Cool I'm a pest control business owner as well I'm from south Texas deep south Rio Grande Valley. At the time I'm doing part time I have a full time job as a certified application applicator at a school district 5 more years and ill retire and do it full time. Keep up with more videos 👐👍👍

Hello, any suggestion for liability insurance providers?
The Comptroller sales and tax permit can be obtained at any comptroller office but the lines are long. Much easier to do it online comptroller.texas.gov/taxes/permit/
Are you doing any rodent exclusions with your business or just focusing on pest and termites??
I don’t do any exclusion work if that’s what you’re asking. I do some work for mice/rats but that’s just catching with snap traps

Hey man love the video! How do we get out tpcl number decal for our trucks? Or do we even need it? I’m in the process of starting my own company as well. Passed my first test today!
Congrats brother! I know how exciting it is. And thank you got the kind words. Now as far as the TPCL on the truck, yes that is something you absolutely have to have. Very simple tho, you can have a magnet made for the truck, my wife actually used her cricket machine to create my logo and stuff for my truck.

@@kevinvargas2127 It’s your Texas Pest Control License number. Once you register your business with the department of agriculture they’ll assign it to you.

Hope the bisiness doing well. I wanted to ask if you got insurance before applying for your commercial applicator license? Also did you wait to get your TIN until after you received your commercial applicator license?
I'm getting ready to take my tests and get things going but from the DOA website it sounds like you need proof of business insurance before applying for the commercial applicator license. Hope you can help with an answer.

Hello what if I’ve never worked for a pest control company Can I still take the certified applicator license?
You are required to have a certain amount of time in order to do so. Unless you have certain college degrees. If so then you can test however for those who don’t you need to be an apprentice for a short time then be a licensed technician for a time then you’re able to test for a CA.
