I firmly believe repealing dont ask dont tell was a great thing for the functionality of the DOD. Back then, closeted men were prime targets for the KGB because they were so easy to identify and blackmail. Back then, all it took was one threat of outing them to their employers and they would get Intel because the closeted servicemen would lose everything. But, today,l it's just virtue signaling which is just toxic in so many ways.

Though, my first thought was that it could've been a training exercise or a security penetration stunt from friendly forces to help reveal openings or exploitations. However, that's just because the first info I heard about the case was that they are Jordanians and Jordan is an ally and progressive country in the Middle East. Still, boots on the ground, I would put that impression aside and still treat it objectively as a national security issue first and foremost and proceed with the same composure as Ben.

Ive dabbled a little bit in body language, and that snapshot shows that the victim even held his palm out when he saw the police officer. I am not referencing the chart right now, but I know it's not aggressive, it is an open gesture. He saw that it was actually a cop and showed an open, gentle posture in reaction. That was a snapshot, but even the video playback at real speed, it was clear that the victim did not train his pistol on the cop. I noticed his door didnt have a peep hole, so he only armed himself for valid personal security. On the other hand, and I dont want to minimize this tragedy at all, but he didn't have to open the door at all. He should have called the pd and ask dispatch if there really was a police officer banging at his door and why. Dispatch is a separate entity from the police officers, they control them, so they could verify and you can contact them without interference from police. I always show police respect.

Even though I haven't seen the forensics myself, I trust Aaron when he says he's seen the wrist fracture X-rays. That pretty much confirms to ke that it is an assault without doubt. Though, considering all of the psychological aspects of the case, I am glad it was bumped down to a misdemeanor. I think it was sentwnced misdemeanor really becuase the judge just had to do it, objectively, according to the law, but in my personal opinion, and giving credence to the emotionally-charged psychological states of both of them, I consider the assault as more of a...unfortunate...umm...unfortunate happenstance. I think the kost appropriate sentence would be a fine, and mandatory and monitored anger management courses to assess reflection. But all in all, there's different kinds of fractures, most fractures are really consequential, unless ot was a hairline fracture or compound fracture or something, which I highly doubt. Good ol tylenol and calcium supplements with a good diet is really all it warrants, but because of the x-ray being an actual factor in the court proceedings, it still had to be taken in account. I think you guys are right on point though. It is a lesson to be learned, and even Aaron gave some good PR advice. I still personally dont think Glover's a bad guy.
