My Hitachi AC unit got suddenly switched off while adjusting the temp. Banged the AC couple of times with no luck. Tried with 2 other Hitachi remotes with no luck either. Tried locating the magic switch but no luck too. It was past midnight when I found this video and I knew this will work when I saw the Mode b display... as I recollect seeing that moments before the AC turned off. Saved me the night and maintenance cost or even cost of a new AC unit. For me this is the first time it happened. I have never observe this issue in any of the Hitachi units for the past 8 yrs...Thank You @nastech2057.
