They are timeless classic designs, I agree with the first part of your comment. The second part of your comment depends on how Oda finishes his story, and in Oda I trust :)

I would give it an 7.5-8 out of 10 overall. Design is definitely 8, they represent Luffy quite well. Because imagine someone stepping on it or you accidentally make them dirty. :/ Of course, there is this Rain&Stain-repelllent from Puma which you can coat around by spraying it onto the shoes, which makes this pair way more wearable despite this light color. Today (28th March 2024, Thursday) I will receive the Shanks and Blackbeard version, I will review the color scheme in the next video coming out on Saturday :)

I share the same opinion with you, the laces really make the difference. Sorry to hear you did not get a pair, it infuriates me so much when scalpers with their bots buy up a huge amount of shoes unregulated… I was camping at midnight right infront of my phone, my strategy was to first secure Shanks pair, before I try to buy Gear 5. Because I knew that if I could not get it, I can still go to the official store. Funny story: Blackbeard and Shanks were not even available in store, so I were lucky to have bought them online. I will also show the other two versions if you want to have a closer look at it.

@@CYX02 Yeah it was a frustrating moment when they sold out while the shoes were in my basket but oh well I will try to find a reseller or go to a store to try find them. Anyhow, I am eager to see the other pairs being reviewed can’t wait!
