The beauty in "waiting" is how it shifts one's perspective of God. When you think you are waiting, God is not standing still in that season - HE is working just not on what you think HE should be working on but rather what HE deems fit and best to sort out in you. The posture of our hearts when we wait, reveals if we are even waiting at all. Amen Amen waiting on God is a spiritual discipline that every believer needs. For single people who are in the Lord it can be difficult to stay pure and avoid fornicating before marriage but this song encourages one to wait on the Lord because fornicating is not only sinning to God but also against one's own body. I don't mind waiting on the Lord. This also gives the discipline of self control which is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Nice one, we had missed you. Politics has been hot of late due to the elections in the US. I must confess I was also guilty of idolizing my race and background instead of the standards of God. Some man of God (Marcus Rogers) helped me realize how much of an idolater I was. The party I always voted for as an American was into abortion and homosexuality, crucial matters that affect the family dynamic. I had to put my race on the side and team up with God on the things He calls an abomination. It has been a life changing journey and am glad I love God more than my own interests. The Bible tells us to love Him with all our hearts as the greatest commandment. Thank you so much for sharing more truth on this topic, am learning that there is much more to politics than what I thought.
