Heading to Japan around 20th April... Will there still be snow?

Camp looks amazing. Looks like the say advanced to expert. Did they actually separate into different groups? If so was this the expert group?
Thank you for sharing this. I’m looking to go to Japan next year and videos like this really help guide me. Please keep making them. 👍🏻😎

Knowledge reporting in public
We all love these reports, but we want more, they are too brief. Give us 1 full min per major resort, more about what runs open and any events etc, and then another minute to cover the smaller resorts, Baw Baw, Selwyn etc, and then a weather forecast. xx.
Why am i recommended this, i don't care if it snows in Australia, i live in Canada
Wind hold didn't used to happen when we had t-bars and poma's.

could you do an update snow report on whakapapa please?
Can you leave a link to the Resorts (3) that would be mad helpful I'm going in Decemebee from the 4th to the 18th can't wait!!!
Here's what I found when I went there about 8 yrs ago, I loved the village, the views and the food, and the people are so nice. My ski trip over about 12 days was not that great, the weather was rather warm, snow sometimes at night, but quite warm during the day, causing the snow to be of quite poor quality. I thought the infrastructure was very dated, small chair lift capacity, that didn't cover much distance before you had to change to the next lift. Hakuba 47, queued up for 20 minutes for the chair, then another 20 minutes at the midway point, then another 20 minutes at the three quarters point on the way to the top, too many people, lifts not big enough and they should go all the way to the top in one go. I think Niseko is probably more consistent with its colder temps, scenery not as good though, but having said that, this video looks like really excellent conditions, so I probably just lucked out with the weather. Tsugakai seemed the biggest with the longest runs, but once again you couldn't ski all the way to the bottom because it was too warm. My trip was in early February.
Backcountry with dancing snow was last ski in Japan prior to covid - Got 1.5m of snow overnight so had to wait a day which was the day we had to go to Tokyo - they generously lent backcountry skis for a day for me to try out in waist deep powder on resort and managed to go out with them the morning we were leaving. Can't recommend these guys enough Just went back to Japan this year again - not Myoko unfortunately. Kanpai Bill.

Nice video! From japan
great video!from Japan
I swear the Australian Backcountry is soo uncharted pretty much all the insane chutes and bowls you can find off blue lake, club lake, watsons crags, heck even rams head, don't have names. Is there any book or guide that actually showcases this incredible land? I use Fatmaps at the moment but it clearly has some limitations as it only has the most well known lines in there
Just spent two days at nozawaonsen, it is a magical place with great skiing, great food, and the most refreshing Onsen baths after a day on the slopes. It was easy to get to from Tokyo, 3 hours door to door on the train and then local bus.
Japan pow back on!!
Great!
Is it busy???
Keep the reports coming. Will be in shiga kogen in 3 weeks. Im hoping for 4 ft clean and offshore as im a bit less experienced than you lot. I used to listen to your surf report on double j. 👍
What a season…
