This is probably one that I want to rebuild, I have another kit that is complete and one that isn't. In the future there is a possibility to make one crashed chopper and another one, hopefully better. I overdid the weathering and those peculiar bulbs on the wingstubbs, which I am pleased with shapewise looks a little off in the seams.

Build Series of Israeli aircraft Build No. 3 I would never have attempted to do this build if I hadn't stumbled upon @JenesisDesignsandModelcraft she has a great build of this particular kit and an extensive knowledge of the aircraft itself. I am nowhere near as comptetent as she is but her build really inspired me. Check out her work!

Not an accurate build, I don't count rivets. I just like to see where the build takes me. This still has a long way to go and I will add ground crew, bits & bobs and a section of building wall as well. Stay safe!

Thank you very much!
Замечательное исполнение. Точное попадание в цвет!!
WOW!!!!
Beautiful work!
Dear Par, More freehand airbrushing? Excellent!! Regards, Z
Any chance I get to avoid masking I jump on it, haha! I thank you! I must admit, having avoided Spitfires for quite some time you have ignited my lust for the aircraft again! I feel I simply have to plan for a special Spitfire build soon!
Dear Par, There are a number of good ones of many marks, so you are spoilt for choice. The Mk1a is something of an icon however. I suspect that you may need to get the masking tape out however! Regards, Z
Cool models. I am just starting to build a KA-6D Intruder.
Cool! That is one I havent bult yet! It is on the wishlist though!
@@pkmodeling What will be the next model?
@@goforitpaintingI am scratch building a Swedish Corvette Visby in 1:200 scale
Cool! I thought about doing this too. Good job, she looks great!
Thank you! There are certainly things I could have done better but I love these wierd subjects. Keep me posted on what you decide!
Will do.
Excellent work and endurance. I like Revelle because they are a challenge...always surprises. A lot of these over-priced precision kits present no challenge and are just mega-assembly cash holes. If you want a really good Revelle that will give you relief from the normal headaches (which I like) and opportunity for scratch-build creativity, get the 1:28 Spad. It goes together perfectly and you can do plenty of embellishment to it and it looks great.
Thanks for the tip, I rarely think of WW1 planes as interesting builds but I will keep this one in mind.
@@pkmodeling WWi warplanes is a whole different experience, wood and canvas. You might be interested in Revelle's 1:48 B-25 Mitchell. Very good quality, detail, opportunities for scratch build, goes together well. I think you can get online for 14-18 bucks.
@@JoToP That is a great price for such a big model
@@pkmodeling 👍 Happy modeling, bro!
Le insegne sotto il canopy sono messe sotto sopra😅
Dear Par, What an excellent and original subject! Your use of freehand airbrushing is something that takes a degree of skill and dexterity that I don’t currently have, but will attempt on a 1/32 Tamiya Spitfire that I need to complete. Your finished model is very nice to look at. Regards, Z
I thank you! I was so blown away by the TSR2 so I feel humbled by your words. This is by no means the perfect way to do it but I always try to do things the way I want to and there is some liberty to be taken with these aircraft that went through many changes over a few years, mainly to keep the enemies guessing how many aircraft they actually had. I didn't get the cover for the top turret as good as I would have liked and the window framing sucks. I am starting to slowly realize that 72nd scale might be too small for my eyes. Have a good day!
I’m completely with you on the 1:72 scale point! I abandoned the Gnat for those reasons. In terms of interpretation, I think that even aircraft restorers take some license when completing their projects- I think we should perhaps take some encouragement from that. You’re exceedingly kind about the TSR2- many many thanks. Regards, Z
I am sorry, English please!
In my personal opinion as a fan of Italian aircraft, the thrust axis of this manufacturer's MC.200-205 kit is wrong. The axis line faces the fuselage, but the actual machine faces the base of the tail wheel. In short, I am flying in a cruising state with the tail slightly raised. I think this is to observe the forward and downward direction by raising the cockpit as much as possible. The E/G is installed according to the thrust axis, and the fuselage frame is installed perpendicular to the axis, so strictly speaking, the direction of the exhaust pipe, the rear wall line of the cockpit, the directional snake line, the installation position of the horizontal stabilizer, etc. is going crazy. At least in 202 and 205, the inclination of the exhaust pipe needs correction. By the way, 21st century model toys do not have the thrust axis wrong, and Hasegawa's kit is the same. For the desert camouflage, what we call green pepper slices are drawn with a small counterclockwise circle and a large clockwise circle. I'm drawing it, so it's getting cute like a cloud.
@@user-jyanome-daisuki thank you for sharing, it was very informative.

I like this a lot- couldn’t do it myself, but appreciate the skills required. Subbed.
I appreciate that! I have been watching your TSR2 closely! Very exciting!

:) Gott Nytt Ar.. :)

Love it, absolutely love it... I am in awe...
I started building this kit a few years ago but did not finish it. It's a pretty good kit, I just do not have the room to display it. I am going to make it a 409 RCAF Squadron machine. Your model looks amazing, great job.
Thank you very much! Displaying things is always a problem. I give my son a couple of planes every year to make some room for new builds.
Why not just hang it from your ceiling?
I think you're too hard on yourself. It looks killer man. I've always wanted to build a Hercules but after seeing what you had to contend with, I know l'm not ready. Heh, Heh. Thanks for posting bro. Take care man.
Really like this one too bro. I've been building a 1/32 Phantom since Christmas and I'm not even close to finishing it. LOL Take care bro.
Looks very good to me. Looks like you've been busy my friend. Gonna check out your other recent builds now. Take care bro.
Nice work! I have one of these in my stash, makes me want to dig it out and get busy👍👍👍👍
Very nice work
I personally don't build ZVEZDA at the moment, as I have gone off Russian kits for the time being.. I have a lot of ZVEZDA in my stash though as I stocked up on their excellent little 1/72 scale tanks and even better figures, before it all went a bit mad. Not saying I'll never build Zvezda again, because I will.. but right now I'm not in the mood for them. Having said that, this looks like a very nice kit, warping and the odd fit issue aside. The details compare very favourably with the old Airfix / Italeri kit that I have (and hope to MAYBE build later in the year, in Swedish markings, in the aforementioned group build). I doubt I'll have the patience to do all that masking though, but in your case it paid off handsomely. I really like the weathering, looks right to me.. Finally, where did you get those cars from? Have been looking out for stuff like that, but to no avail.. :) I give this model 12/10.. it cheered me up seeing it! :)
I hear you on the Zvezda thing. I started this before the russian invasion of Ukraine and even if I probably never wil buy another I still have six in my stash. The kit itself is good, the warping is probably an isolated event. I freehand a lot of the painting but as you said, there was a lot of masking. The cars are ordered from superhobby.com, a polish site if I am not mistaken. But I also found a Hasegawa kit called U.S. Pilot/ground crew set from alfahobby.se if I remember correctly.
@@pkmodeling 6 Hercules in your stash??? You are almost as mad as I am with my Draken kits.. :) :) I will take a look at Superhobby, I have bought stuff from Poland before, including a Hasegawa 1/48 J35 F / J Draken kit that was considerably cheaper there, than anywhere else. Not sure if it was Superhobby or somewhere else, as I bought it on ebay. Sadly they only had one left, but I'm glad I sourced that one, at least. Will take a peep at alfahobby as well, you never know what gems one might find.. ;)
@@BasicModelling Haha, No I was unclear, it is six Zvezda kits but different subjects. Sadly most of them are russian helicopters and planes. Mil mi 24 and 28, and a Frogfoot that I can remember. I source most of my kits from Tradera, Alfa and Superhobby. I am yet to build a Draken😔, I know.... But I have plans....
Now I know you are posting again, I will keep a look out for your videos.. :) You are spoiling me now, with a nice run of helicopters.. and this is another one, very good!! :) :)
We are always our own worst critics.. but this model I personally really like, it is a beauty... :) I hope to build the rescue helicopter at the F10 Museum, later in the year when I will be running a 'Nordic Power' Group Build, with military and civilian stuff used by Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Iceland. Love helicopters, just don't build too many of them, for some reason.. As for Apaches, we have them flying in the area quite often, I never get tired of seeing them. So yes, well done, that is a little gem of a model build.. :)
Thank you so much Rob! You are too kind. That group build sounds very interesting, I have never partaken in one byt that might be the one.
@@pkmodeling Why do you think I mentioned it?? :) :) I thought it may be of interest. I can give you the details later, right now I am running '1900 - 2000, A Century of Conflict' group build, for which I will build the HobbyBoss 1/48 Tunnan in Congo camo.. among other builds planned. :)
@@BasicModelling Haha! Friday tired brain😴 haha. The 1/48 Tunnan in Congo camo sounds like a brilliant idea. Lets speak again about this. I hope you get to visit Flygvapenmuseum i Ängelholm soon again, If you do, let me know I will treat you to a barbecue.

I counted one rivet.. it was right there, by the left wheel.. ;) This looks good to me, certainly better than anything I could have done, paintwise. As for the over scaled thingymejiggys, I have no clue so will have to take your word for it. Scratchbuilding is not always easy to get right, but I go by the motto ' It may not be 100% accurate, but it is pleasing to the eye'.. :) And your model, to me, is very pleasing to the eye.. :) :)
Well, I humbly thank you for those kind words, truly! I am however more pleased with the Hercules build. That one was a beast to wield around on the bench. I wish you a very pleasant weekend and a good national day on monday!

@@BasicModelling excellent choice!
@@pkmodeling Luckily , even after Brexit, there is still a ready supply of Swedish food available, from specialist shops in London, aven om det kostar skjortan . ;) IKEA seem a bit disappointing as a food supplier these days though.. Hey Par, how's it going? Long time no talk. Heh Heh. This F-15 looks really good man. Your weathering skills are better than ever and the exhaust nozzles look killer. Very realistic. Nicely done. I think it looks better than the box art.

Great build, I just found one at the Saturday market, and thought I’d watch some videos and builds fit inspiration. Thank you
Good luck with the build, I'd love to see it when you are finished.
Lol...Like my love....hate affair with the super detailing...gave up, now strictly out of the box and concentrating on weathering to make up for detailing. Good vid btw.
Thank you sir!
I tried building the "Droop Snoot" version of this kit in the mid-70s, when I was 14 and it destroyed me! I gave up and threw it away. I so wanted that kit to turn out and all I got out of it was so frustration and disappointment. How this kit ever got released is beyond me. Kudos for hanging in there and finishing.
