Gorgeous little girl and I feel you…every time I want to buy a plant I have to check if they’re poisonous to cats. I’m not complaining though, my cats are 100% worth it. First world problems eh? We’re so lucky. 😊 Hope your kitty continues to thrive.

What is the name of the liquid fertilizer you’re using. You didn’t say and I can’t see the name due to glare reflection coming from the lights reflecting on the bottle. Thanks
Hey thank you for that question. I used MicroLife Ocean Harvest in the big white bottle with the blue label and SuperThrive in the little brown bottle. Superthrive is a little booster type of fertilizer and the MicroLife is a food/fertilizer. If you can’t find MicroLife look on Amazon as they occasionally have it or try Garrett Juice which is more widely available and a little less expensive. I appreciate you watching!😁
Last year I saw succulents that had been PAINTED. Horrible colours, too. I was mortified.
And so were the plants! How embarrassing for them! Also how bad for them, like don’t let them photosynthesize or anything. Just WHY?!

Os it a hybrid or native?
Hey good question. This is not a hybrid as far as I know but I think it is a “common elderberry”. The Trees for Houston group that gave out the trees where I got my elderberry specializes in native species to encourage plantings and renewal in the local environment. I am not sure of the species of this elderberry but they produce many varieties of native trees and have events regularly to pass out as many trees as possible to the public.
Do you know which elderberry you have?
