I have what is known as an edge to edge presser foot, or stitch in a ditch foot if you're a quilter, that must be a very good presser foot for this kind of projects 😊
You are an excellent teacher. I like the way you instruct - clear and to the point. I am in my 2nd go-around after several years of making rope baskets and despite watching a lot of rope art basket videos, I learned new ways to spruce up my rope art from your video. Thank you for sharing your method of making rope baskets. Congrats on getting 1,000 likes - that is not easy!
WHAT A GREAT IDEA on the watermelon rope bowl…May I ask why it began with a small zig zag stitch then progressed to the large one? Love How the “seeds” were placed in the bowl..
Hallo Du kannst eine normale Garnrolle unter der großen stecken.Sie darf nicht ganz voll sein.Dann kannst Du die große Rolle auf die Nähmaschine setzen und den Becher weglassen. LG Bille.
You measure to the grainline to make sure the fabric hangs on your body correctly. This keeps the pant legs from twisting when gravity pulls on the pants.
Wow love how you explain things. I'm new to sewing and I find your video very helpful more than other videos I've seen. Thank you keep loading videos please.
I have the tape only because I cut it to specific lengths for my students and then it sits around for a few months and has time to fray. You do not have to do so.
I believe those might be toe separators for when people paint their toenails! Very innovative and a unique way to store them, I hadn't thought of them.
Awesome basket very one show the round one but how do you shape oblong?😊
Demonstrate putting handles on baskets. (Is it skip 4" of basket and add 5"of rooe for handles.? Thank you
The best tutorial I've seen thank you very much
Hai
How do you stop the yarn from twisting on the peg
Is this medium size yarn?
hey thank you for making this video and now i have a beanie! thank you!
You're so assertive! Even, dare I say, bossy 😂
Mahalo for the tutorial, nice to see different ideas, will try this way as well, your voice and music make you feel relaxed!
I've watched several tutorials, and no one talks about tension. Any wisdom on how to set it?
How many pegs is this loom please?
It looks like it's about 31 pegs. If you pause the video when she has it on the table, you can count the pegs yourself to make sure 😉
What is the difference starting from the inside ? Then having the yarn on the outside ?
It was to show how you can use two strands of yarn from the same skein if you didn't want to work from two separate bundles.

What size needle did you use?
Organized but a little rude. Won't watch
Coloca a capa da caneta bic o lado que encaixa nesse porto linha tive esta ideia e deu certo😊
Hi, how big is your zigzag stitch pls
Thanks for the wonderful video. I feel confident I can make a basket. Do you have any idea how many feet of rope you needed to make the basket

Thannk you, Andrea. Thats the best tutorial yet!
Or you could take a smaller spool of thread and push it into bottom of large spool so then it will stay on the holder.
Please what is the name of the rope when i can find its . Thank you.
Nice machine.
Thank you. This was a great tutorial.
Thank you!
Very nice. Will be doing my first attempt soon. Did you use a heavy weight thread, and a particular presser foot?
I think we are old enough that we don't need to know how to properly put things back. Got off of this video really fast. Take note of that.
Such an excellent teacher!
yo idk why this is in my recommended since i left Indian hills 2 years ago, but tell ur students a random 10th grader says hi :)
Thank you for showing me how to do this another way. I will be watching out for your videos.
Minha máquina não costura fácil assim Léa quase nao puxa

It’s just satisfying to watch.
Cuántos mm milímetros tiene la cuerda ?

what if you don’t have someone to shake your fabric with you?
How long is the piece of rope you started with?
Wow! Great as house warming gift! 💜 I know you were pulling on it to make it more or less stiff could you also spray it with something? Terial Magic??
Nope I do not spray it but you could.
Why do u have too measure the distance from the savage side to the middle line of your pattern???
You measure to the grainline to make sure the fabric hangs on your body correctly. This keeps the pant legs from twisting when gravity pulls on the pants.

You are so welcome!
Really!!
I absolutely love this and it seems so easy! I really want to make several and give them away. I think they'd be great to hold keys, remotes, etc!
it looked like you had tape at the beginning and end of rope but you did not say to do this
I have the tape only because I cut it to specific lengths for my students and then it sits around for a few months and has time to fray. You do not have to do so.
Best video on how to fix straight of grain.
TERRIBLE teacher. No instruction. Monotonous voice. Zipzag was too tight. Poor rope choice. YOU SHOULD STOP MAKING VIDEOS!
Andrea - where did you get that handy bobbin holder? So much better than a box!
I believe those might be toe separators for when people paint their toenails! Very innovative and a unique way to store them, I hadn't thought of them.
Yes I use toe separators. I find the stiffest/hardest ones work the best.
