Goodbye Fukuoka! The finale to our 16-day Kyushu trip: Munakata, Ukiha, and the best Yakiniku ever!
This video wraps up our 16-day trip across Kyushu, which took place in late May to early June 2024
In this grand finale, we close off this adventure with two day-trips, visiting the three fabled Munakata shrines on Dayy 1, and trekking our way to the Ukiha Inari Shrine (which has close to 100 torii gates lining the mountain path leading to its shrine)
Oh, importantly, we also discovered a Yakiniku place that specialises in 'Saga beef'; which I daresay is the best Japanese BBQ we've had in our lives thus far!

After more than 10 days in Kyushu, we are finally on to our second last city on this trip, the tropical city of Miyazaki! Miyazaki is a pretty small city (tourism-wise), and the highlight for us (in this video) was making day trips out to see one of Japan's most notable coastal shrines - Udo Jingu (鵜戸神宮). We also dropped by Aoshima Island (青島), which features the Devil's Washboard (鬼の洗濯板) - a c...

Thank you for this video. It was helpful. Where did you buy the bus tickets for the trip from Fukuoka Airport to Nagasaki? Does the bus take passengers from Nagasaki back to Fukuoka city center?

Hey! You can get the tickets at the bus counter immediately upon exiting immigration. In our case, we missed that and went straight to the boarding point. The bus captain was helpful and sold us tickets to the leftover seats on the spot. Tickets should also be available online via pre-reservation from the bus company's website, though we struggled with that due to language barriers. There are also highway buses that go from Nagasaki directly to Fukuoka - you can probably check that out using a company like Willer Travel. Hope this helps!
