Saw this in Aspen yesterday, it's one of maybe 3 flyable Starships left. Pretty freakin' cool.

Smoggy Visual Approach Runway 23 CYYZ Toronto Pearson
Needed this today 🙏
Hola! Soy Dora the whoreah
Very interesting indeed I live here looks to be a Cessna citation jet
How can you forget the Damm gear like dude you have audio warning the plane I fly just has lights no audio so when I'm landing I'm staring at the landing light making sure it is green
the 172 has gear?
172RG
Someone left a window open!!
"That is bullshit" lolol
i went here
Student: Hey , what is that beep sound ? Insturecter: *I dont know* Plane: *Screams* Student: *I think i know what that means*
Who needs a check list anyway.
There goes $50,000 bucks
cool
GUMPS check not completed.
I didn’t read all the comments, so don’t spam me if it was already established, but it looks to me that it was an intentional gear up (ie some mechanical problem). Even that slap at the end seems to say “ok, we survived this one”. Of course, I could be totally wrong. What would point out to “forgetting” is what appears to be a casual conversation right before the touchdown. I’d rather expect some tense silence. So, I guess I’m not entirely sure :).
Can't have a gear up in a 172. Unless it's a Cutlass. Also, if you land any Cessna correctly install warning will be going off at the time of touchdown. Also many other aircraft that way as well.
"He has just destroyed another diaper. It's in tatters." Baby does look perplexed, alright. The laughter of the parents is contagious!
"Hey what's that loud beeping sound? Is that the gear warning??? Nah...."
a 4R arrival into logan is pretty common because most planes do not know how to land there except most transatlantics take off 9 with full length or 4R because 4R is being used as the sole runway that uses all aircraft domestic and aircraft
Sweet! Nicely done guys!
That is... so cool.
bip bip bipbip bip bip bip bip........ clean your ears man next time :))
What is that incesant beeping?
u saw my favorite singer u so lucky
lack of total awareness.. pilots were chatting on short final, disregarding sterile cockpit at all! They probably deserved that..
I wonder if he passed the checkride.
FYI on the next video p-lease don't zone in so close if you are going to be walking around. Good video tho, liked see all the cool stuff
nice place)))
headache
what plane is this?
Looks a bit fast for a Cessna 172 🤓
easy way to remove paint from the bottom of the aircraft..lol. glad everyone survived.
Make sure they won't start the trains and take you away!
How did you get a front view?!
Cool!
Don't just rely on beeping sounds and checklist. Visual, visul, visual. Look to your left and see if the landing gear is out and ask your passenger to do the same.
Beep means the landing gear is being retracted, it should stop beeping once the gear is fully retracted, obviously is a malfunction, so don't bash on the pilot without knowing what's going on, he retracted the gear thats why you hear the beeping sound
Insurance money...
not putting the gear down was bad enough, but that approach was awful... extremely high.
ISKRA :)
Cessna 172 RG: Cessna 172 RG Gear Swings
MattThePilot .... I know your comment is from 2 years ago, but did you read the description of the video.... Because your questions are answered by simple reading...
Just so everyone knows, Cessna 172 RG models do have retractable landing gear, and although this pilot did hear the "beeping" sound, maybe it didn't occur to anyone else that he probably heard that sound many times during training whenever he pulled the throttle back with the gear pulled up while practicing maneuvers. The body does get used to hearing emergency sounds after a very short amount of time people.
Yep! That's why I think all power-off maneuvers should be done with the gear down.
I mean, I do all of mine with the gear down. If I get questioned on it I will just explain that the maneuver should be in landing configuration.
In my CFI school I explained myself by stating that any alarm or alert should be addressed immediately
helpful video for people to REMEMBER YOUR CHECKLIST>>>>>>
Checklists, checklists, checklists. Pilots (myself included) become complacent overtime and overlook the obvious, thats why there are checklists. I have experienced one actual engine out and forced landing early in my flying days.
wow... barely minimum. Great job. Thanks for posting!
That is very true. Business/Private usually dont have what is called Quiet Cabin. Quiet Cabin is a feature built into the fuselage that dampens outside noise.
I was referring to the rumbling sound. Seems the cockpit of these jets are significantly louder than airline jets which probably lends to the distorted audio.
Its a jet. xD
That's a wild bank on base-to-final.
Why does the background noise sound like the space shuttle taking off?
