the performance was nice but audience participation was annoying! it is the pacific way but should be kept to a minimum as they get in the way of the performance and thats who we want to see not their antics on stage...
That is actually part of the fun tho. For us rotumans the audience participating is actually one of the highlights and they usually join for a short while
Don’t think of it as a performance. Think of it more as a celebration through dance.

No. I disagree. We come to see the whole thing. 😊LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it all. The audience participation makes it and as you said, this IS the Rotuman way. This is at the University and you're not going to get those young people to STOP participating. They didn't perform for OUR benefit. We are just BLESSED that it is available for us on RUclips to enjoy. It's not some whitewashed performance in a studio andcif it were it would not be genuine would it ? This IS the norm. ❤😊
