This is a fantastic song, as well as a fantastic version. Even after all these years since this songs release, I’ve yet to find a more lyrically powerful song that encapsulates the feeling of accomplishment one would have being recognized for doing something they knew was truly significant. Especially at such a young age, when they knew that most of the world never expected them to accomplish it in the first place. To describe those emotions would be incredibly difficult. Yet, Taylor Swift makes it look so easy. Whether you’re a true Taylor Swift fan or not, there’s no denying that she’s one of the most prominent and influential singer/songwriters of my generation. Especially in regards to songwriting. One of the best.
