watercolor paintings, mostly landscapes
Painting is an illusion. Details aren’t important.
Currently using a fairly limited primary palette, 2-3 brushes, and always the heaviest thickest pure cotton paper I can get ahold of.

Curious, Is there a Japanese watercolor paper that is good gooood ?
The Saunders Waterford, despite sounding British, is Japanese. It’s made by Holbein. So far it is the best “Japanese” made one I have found. The few others I’ve tried definitely aren’t worth the price. The Waterford is priced decently. Here it is similar or a little less than Fabriano. That small cold press block I’m using was ¥2000 or so.
Incredible work
thanks. appreciate it
