You can if you are using a mixer with your interface (the connection runs between your mixer & the soundcard interface) the interface then communicate it to your computer

Very clever - but the question is "what is the scale of your project (song)" is it Minor or Major? I believe you should be using Sample Loops of the same scale. How could you ever have such case? Nevertheless, Major & Minor are relative - which means they share the same notes. As long as the progression matches your project all you need to do is find the relative major or minor, and you will know the number of semi-tones you are to use for your transposition.

Exactly, that is a need for update

Cubase might be complex, but trust me it's so simple to use, simpler than the rest. The thing is, you'll gradually get better at it when you start using it. One of the features that keeps me in cubase is the Vari-Audio (Pitch Correction) - it's so good, the best! No DAW gives you such quality

Yes, very possible. This is what we called multi-tracking. You must set up your DAW to receive from the 2 channels (usually Input 1 is identified as Left and Input 2 as Right) if you are configuring as Stereo. Inside your DAW, Set the input of the 1st Track/Channel to receive from Left and the other Track/Channel to receive from Right Then Arm both Tracks for recording, Press Record The two signals should now record separately. Pretty straight forward sequencer. Ableton has way better midi tools to get advanced grooves.

This is the weakest aspect of Cubase for me. Logic, Studio One and FL Studio all have sequencers head and shoulders above Cubase. Not only for ease of use (Cubase is like 3 extra steps comparatively) but for functionality. I really hope they update their step sequencer and groove agent to be used in the lower zone like in the other DAWs I mentioned.
