You can if you are using a mixer with your interface (the connection runs between your mixer & the soundcard interface) the interface then communicate it to your computer

@@slurstudio I have visited the website but I don't know which of the courses to choose for the skillset I want to enroll for. The course descriptions aren't so elaborate on what I'd be able to do at the end of the training.

Very clever - but the question is "what is the scale of your project (song)" is it Minor or Major? I believe you should be using Sample Loops of the same scale. How could you ever have such case? Nevertheless, Major & Minor are relative - which means they share the same notes. As long as the progression matches your project all you need to do is find the relative major or minor, and you will know the number of semi-tones you are to use for your transposition.
