    Just found your video , how many stitches would I need to make a Afghan please ? Thank you for sharing ❤

    • @VickiBeckerDesigns
      @VickiBeckerDesigns 5 месяцев назад

      Make a sample swatch with the hook and yarn you intend to use for the afghan. Measure the swatch and then multiply the number of stitches to get the size afghan you wish to make. You need to get a double hook circular needle to make an afghan. A 8.0 mm would be a good size for worsted weight yarns.

    These all seem like great knots to join yarn. Do any of these unravel when washed?? I’m working on a large project and would hate for it to unravel when washed. I loved this video since I didn’t know how to even do these knots. Thank you!

    Thanks for such as easy-to-follow video. I am planning on knitting a rectangular wrap, using 2 strands of thin yarn.. I'll just be doing it in Garter stitch. However, I'd like to put in an eyelet row every inch or two. I have a question though.... I'd like to knit 2 stitches at the start and end of the eyelet row. Does this sound like a good idea. .. Slip 1 (knit-wise), *K1, YO, K2tog* Repeat * to * until 2 stitches are left. Knit the last 2 stitches...

    • @VickiBeckerDesigns
      @VickiBeckerDesigns 2 года назад

      Yes it would be a good idea to have an edge for the wrap.

    Thank you for this simple and informative video! Question: Should these eyelets be started on right side rows? I noticed my eyelets have a right side look vs. a wrong side look. Thanks!

    • @VickiBeckerDesigns
      @VickiBeckerDesigns 2 года назад

      They should be started on the right side but if you like the look of starting on the wrong side then go for it!

    hi is it okay if you can do a separate stitch tutorial I’m 11 and I’m learning to knit and it’s really hard cause I’m left handed I already got everything upset for the stitch part thank you!

    • @VickiBeckerDesigns
      @VickiBeckerDesigns 4 года назад

      Since you are using both hands and most instructions are written for right hand. It is recommended to follow right hand directions. You might want to try the continental method. I only knit right handed and the English method. Hope this helps.
