g12m greenback
2017 g12t-75 I like it
The eminences sound modern deathcore. Ew.
Which year is this V3 from?
Excellent comparison video - well done 👏🏻
Technically that's an SRO12L, I have a pair of sro12 alnico coffee cans and they're a whole different beast than the 12L, but I'm nitpicking when I should be thanking you, I have heard plenty of people mention the lynchback but now I have to go watch a whole bunch of videos about them because that sounded bad-ss right there.
Damn, so the Mesa MC90's really are quite different from a CL-80. Is it still their version of a CL-80, or is it essentially a different speaker, because theres a lot of misinformation out there. Like, I always thought maybe it was sort of like how they have the V30 made for them to a little different spec, so same kind of deal, but with a C:-80. It really has a G12-65 kinda vibe going on with the darker top end. Ive got a quad of 80's G12-65's too, and they sound amazing. In a Marshall JCM800, or 1960 Cab they are literally one of my fave's, because the Marshall Cabs can be quite bright sometimes. Also, never realized the EVH GB's were voiced different too. Thought it was just his label on a regular prod GB.
Whatever the speaker is... that MESA roars !
G12M-65 surprisingly good for this style. Classic Lead 80 my favourite (reminds me of White Zombie La Sexorcisto tone)
Amazing video
It's weird how similar the G65, the old T75, and the Black Shadow are. Edit: and the Creambacks. I feel like Celestion keeps selling us the same speaker but renamed.
Not that weird-the 65 and the T-75 definitely derive from the same family. The CL-80 and K100 are in there too.

Why the fuck is this popping up when I search for Weber Tone Cvlt..?
What's great about this comment is now it will pop up for anyone searching for Weber Tone Cvlt because you put that term in the comments for this video. And I just did a second time.
Great video!
EVM 12L, for me. But it's not like you can go wrong with any of them...except that this is two comparisons in a row where I didn't like the EVH.
a comparison with a clean tone also would be great
uh, no. get out of here, poser
Excellent video.
Great video...straight to the point...not mixed to death...ty
Great work! Do you know what year the Mesa C90 is? I have a very old one that sounds very different from other old and newer one that I have had. As big a difference as with the different year T75s in this video.
Awesome video !!!
For my taste - Eminence wins- the best celestions to my ears creambacks and lynchback
This vid would be AMAZING if it was done on a 6 string ffs
I like the Celestion range the best but I always seem to like the EVH stuff the best just about whatever it is
for me g12-65 best, soft smooth and also articulated
The description lists three mics? Did you record these with different mics?
Круто! Жаль, гитара немного не настроена. Спасибо!
In this context, i really like the G12t-75
👍🇬🇧❤🔊G12T-75 🎸
Idk the 2017 t75 sound good to me and Texas heat .
I actually like the G12-65 and the 2017 G12T-75
They all sound like crap. 🤣
wow great video thanks any way you can add Eminence swamp thang, and DV 77 +
excellent demonstration! keep it up! bravo!!!
EVH and H75 sounds very close. I'm surprised.
When miced up they sound very close. How ever they feel quite different to play when you play loud due to the compression of the EVH.
I was thinking the same!
Texas heat sounds also really cool
Thanks, it's a cool speaker. Needs a bit more highs from the amp eq but sounds massive
G12m25 cuts well without harshness. Any chance to compare it to G12H30 anniversary ? cheers
Thanks. I don't have the H anniversary at the moment.
The Lynchback was a cool one I've never heard of
One of my favorites
Me agrego a tu opinión! Saludos desde Mexico
Lots of surprises with this upload. I really liked the EVHs and and also the Greenback M! Both Greenbacks were good. I also dug the Governors
Thanks. Greenback family is awesome unless you need lots of power handling and tight low end. Governor is a bit tricky. If it works it kills, if it doesn't. Well it surely doesn't. It has a strange midrange that sometimes sit extremely well in the mix
Finally a video offers a high gain comparison!
Thanks! I like both high and low gain
Such a massive difference! I love the 1986 G12-65, Vintage 30, 1994 T75. Actually all of them!
