The Safety Mission (Oceanic Championships 2024)
After missing out on Melbourne Summer Finals, and almost missing out on Nationals Finals, I really just wanted to safety my way into Oceanics Finals with little to no dramas.
I was originally going to safety round 2, but after hearing that @harryforbes2492 tragically DNF'ed his round 1 average, I realised that I should probably safety round 1 also.
Glad that this all paid off in the end :)

Melbourne Cube Days 2024, Round 1, Group 2 Ok despite how bad I made this average look, I'm really happy with this as I had grinded a lot of 5x5 leading up to this competition, obviously I'm more than estatic to get overall PB despite all of the mistakes I made. Watching this 2x2 final was one the most of intense and exciting moments of my life, realising that you had a BPA that would win (we didn’t know Bryan’s 1st solve) was so insane, seeing one of my great friends come 2nd on the podium was legendary. You deserve this so much Jacob, you’ve put a lot of time into 2x2 and it’s great to see it pay off, and that you achieved your goal of a championship podium. Well done man
