This loading scheme does not seem to be the correct way of analysis, as it appears that the load is not uniformly distributed on the contact area; rather, it is being applied as a line load on three locations (3, 6 and 9 O'clock). This can be seen through the displacement results.
You are absolutely right, it's just a simplified analysis for demonstration purposes. I will create a more realistic simulation in the future!

Why is the displacement different when the analysis is performed using beam elements 1D or 3D compared to using tetrahedral elements? What displacement should I consider?
If the beam is long and slender, we can simplify it and use 1D (ignoring other degrees of freedom and shear deformation. i.e classical beam theroy). For complex beams, tetrahedral is required.
Give me manual calculation of all of this

I have no clue why you're dividing the value that you'd on the displacement to 100. I tried to guess and do it by taking the radius, diameter, 100, etc. as divisor but it got wrong to get the value compared to my hand calc.

So not safe design
Solidworks is really bad for this kind of work. You have to make the 3d model of the profiles instead of just defining them in the analysis. Profile library is basically empty
I respect your opinion but not too much.
@@cadingal in most other software packages you could just draw one simple sketch. Beam/truss elements are usually defined as idealizations, so there is no need to have any 3d geometry. But solidworks forces you to make 3d model, which is not trivial as its beam profile library is by default mostly empty. You can populate it or draw your own sections, but it is all extra work. I hope i made myself a bit more clear. It is not a matter of opinion but a fact.
