I did buy these glass noodles I cooked them for almost an hour and I noticed that the never became soft/mushie even with being overcooked why is that?

How long did you do it for in the microwave

Hi Reno, I found you through your restaurant videos. Coincidentally I live in Toronto, which has a very large Korean population and lots of very good ethnic food. For example, I tasted daeji gukbap for the first time a few weeks ago and then saw your video about EomYongBaek Doejigukbap Jonggak. One day I hope to visit Korea and experience the authentic cuisine! Toronto is a big, multicultural city. Crime is getting to be a problem and public transportation can be challenging. I was waiting 15 min in the freezing wind just this week. Normally I drive. However, compared to many big American cities, Toronto is still relatively inexpensive and pleasant. Please continue to share your experiences in Korea, especially your food experiences! 🙏🙏🌷🌷

You gave me a reason to go buy more gochuchang! I have always wondered though, how come a lot of recipes with gochuchang also have sugar, soy sauce and chili powder added to them? Isn't that just like adding more gochuchang?
