I don't know much about the scene nowadays, but I guess most pro players left the game back in 2010 when the servers shut down. This replay isn't actually as good as other ones, but it's one of the few I still have and most have been deleted .. sadface.
How come you chose not to play as Faramir at first?
Been almost 4 years now, but I remember Faramir being one of the worst heroes in the game, in my opinion. Also, Mage is the best character in the game because of the many capture quests.

Am I the only person alive who misses this game? I used to be extremely good. Once you git gud the skill cap seems to disappear and there's tons of combos. The combat was actually amazing despite what critics say.
Definitely not the only one. I play the campaign from time to time but multiplayer was much more fun. Sad it took the same turn most Lord of the Rings games from EA took.

That 2 min thing is HORSE SHIT! It's not just challenge, it's nearly impossible when you include how it takes 6 sec to get up if you're knocked down, and the 12 seconds to run back to where you have to kill the 20, AND the weak generic ones don't count, just the warriors and sorcerers. Just another example of why this game just faded into obscurity.
Exactly. It's a pretty frustrating mission and incredibly hard for the first mission of the campaign. The weak ones actually count toward the 20. You just have to ignore the warriors and hope they don't stunlock you with their skills.
