I absolutely know this is true. I used to see all the things I do for even the people I love more than anything as a sacrifice. And that view alone made all the things I did and gifts I gave corrupted by my ego. As soon as I let go of some shame from my past I saw my life as an opportunity to serve. And my view has completely changed although my daily experiences and responsibilities are very much similar. I was hosting ego, and that really was affecting everything else in my life.

There have been so many times that what you say in the video I watch that day is exactly what I need to hear for that day. One part I’m playing right now seems to be someone that watches these videos. I used to waste time watching meaningless content on RUclips and other sites. As I start my days here, I have noticed that need evaporate and I am engaged in more healing and helpful activities. Choosing right is to allow the holy spirit to decide for you. You are ego, there is no you that is not ego and you will deiced from fear. WE do live in a mirror world, the trick is to remove anything egoic from the mirror so it only reflects back source love, no ego, no persona. It is the same as the middle path taught by Zen masters and it is achieved by dissolving the ego, not training it and certainly don't waste time attempting to fix it. At times we do get a glimpse into what it is like to have no ego, no expectations, no desires, no opinions, we just become a blank mirror. But those times are fleeting until the ego is dissolved. This is what ACIM teaches, it is called the heart path. There are two other paths, one is the mental path we call Zen, the other is what happened to Eckhart Tolle where the mind is so frustrated it dissolves, usually in some kind of nervous breakdown and just before the ego takes you down with it you pull back and allow the ego to die and your essence does not. This is typically spontaneous but it does have a lot in common with the mental frustrations of Zen methods like sit and only allow the mind to think of the this "what is the sound of one hand clapping?" or Zazen which is to sit and stare at a blank wall until the mind gives up, this seems to be a forced boredom method but it would drive you nearly nuts before the mind gives up. Boredom is an important part of dissolving the ego, have you ever noticed how the ego cannot stand to be bored? It acts like boredom is some kind of enemy to be avoided at all costs, as it is for the ego, it is aware that boredom can kill it over time.

This feels like a sacred message to hear this time of year. I have so many past regrets. And concerns about the future. ACIM, meditations, journaling, yoga, qigong, and other routines are helping me be grounded and present. Thank you.

Actually time itself doesnt exist. You see a car traveling down the road and think oh time passed. No what really happened is energy caused matter to move and you witnessed change and called it time passing. Moments of time are easy for us to conceptualize but this is likely because we blink. Time isnt linear, it doesnt flow, there are no segments if time. It doesnt exist. Ask a physicist and they cant define time. Im amazed at how all of these equations etc rely on and show the existance of time and their results are highly accurate allowing marvelous inventions when fundamentally time does not exist. My conclusion for now is that there is an integrity in Gods creation such that it appears that time exists even when it doesnt.

I feel the blessing that having a beginners mind approach will be as I allow it in my life and in my heart. To see things I take for granted with a renewed appreciation. To let go and forgive people and events. Healing words. 🙏

This reminds me of the time I was listening to someone talking about Peace Pilgrim being shown around some part of Hawaii by a friend and at some point a man came up to them. He was dressed in clothes that were tattered and had quite the faul mouth. He was curious about her and asked questions and from time to time he be saying curse words. Peace Pilgrim's friend was mortified for her, but she talked to the man very kindly and never showed any irritation nor displeasure being in his company. When the man parted, he was in tears because she didn't judge him but in fact treated him with great kindness and understanding.
