Well, Dusty is a mix of an Air Tractor AT-502, a Cessna 188, and a PZL M-18. But, his actual model is an Air Tractor AT-502B with a PT6A-34AG engine with 5,000 horsepower. He had 680 in a half horsepower when he was a crop duster. His former top speed was 168 mph. His current top speed is now 500 mph. He's an air racer and an aerial firefighter.

I looked and I don't have the recording of the train arriving and departing anymore.

I think you'll definitely be able to, but they will likely fade quickly. I need to upload my ALC-42 video. They just produce a constant drone that doesn't really have much chug or anything. During that catch, I also got to hear a P42DC in low idle, no HEP engaged. That was interesting to say the least.

Definitely! Sounds to be a badly fouled RS3L. One of the other units lead before they switched the consist around and I believe that it had a pretty good sounding P3. That may have been 4117.

Sure was! Possibly could have been a crew member deadheading back to base.

There are about 12 trains in a 24 hour period, with most of those coming during the daylight hours. I usually get about 4 of those when I go out between 8 am and 2 or 3 pm. I'm on the Yazoo Subdivision south of Memphis, so those figures stand for the line between Memphis and Jackson.

dont worry about not being able to operate them because of retirement, im sure that smaller passenger railroads and especially heritage railroads will be wanting to buy them after amtrak retires them

Yep. The northbound grains are usually empty on this sub. Before the train came into view, I could hear them in Notch 8 leaving the siding at Money.
