I orded a MSS loco in kit form and the gas kit (as it seems better and safer/cleaner than the other options), high pressure valve and water top up valve. How do you light the gas burner - do you do it in place or do you have to pull it out like the soldi fuel/meths to light it? Also I orderd the BIX gas - is there a regulator conversion ket for that, or do you have a different gas conversion kit? Thanks

What do you use to glue your fomex board together

I have some resin loads these are really designed for steam locos. They also need a lot of cleaning up to look right. I like this idea very much., very effective. Saturday looks like being a fairly nice day but a storm going through on Friday.

I purchased an MSS kit many years ago and fitted it with propane, gauge and all the other goodies. Here in Australia, I could have bought a Roundhouse loco for similar money and it would have been better out of the box than the MSS ever was. I enjoyed the process of building and modding the kit, but the results were always less than stellar. I'm on the hunt again only this time I'm considering a Cracker revved up to 45mm gauge track. I've got a small lathe and a few bits and pieces of tooling, so I might get more involved, or not. Dunno yet.. Nice nostalgic video dude, thanks for sharing. Just noticed you may have a superheater tube. I made up a superheater tube, don't know how effective it was but they are pretty much essential in my view if you can shoehorn the superheater tubing in....

Last Christmas I built a PS model's Pendarn Guards van a great kit to make, I super detailed the interior making a coat rack, a cupboard, printing off railway timetables and making parcels etc. Lollipop sticks are great for making seat slats and window frames.

The timber planks look really nice, as does the brickwork. Do you plan on weathering the building after the paiting or will you keep it pristine and let nature do the work? (Off topic but your videos help immensly in destressing and finding inspiration to work on my own stuff. )
