Wow! Lots of finishes. What about backstitching around the ghosts? I recently finished Spanish Wind that I started in 2008. It is mostly black work (Holbein stitch) which can get tedious. I forced myself to do small chunks to finish. See you soon 😊

I definitely have projects that i lost enthusiasm for but have since got out and finished. I think one took me over 10 years (and still needs framing!)
I am in process with working on WiP from 2011. And I figure out my mistake in border so I very happy. My goal on piece is to finish it this year.

Good to see you back! I think enjoying pumpkin is very much an American thing. I saw a British RUclips chef call it a dreadful vegetable and she advised her audience to avoid anything made with it, especially the gelatinous pumpkin pie.
Gasp! But I love the pumpkins…oh well, more for us I guess ☺️

Thank you for sharing your vacation pictures, they are really fun to see. I want to tell you my 5 yr old grandson greatly enjoys the frog-in-a-box I made him as a Christmas present. He had been asking his mom for a box (!) because his older sister received a jewelry box that really locked! I am now working on a chocolate candies pattern to put in a box for his sister. My kind of fun!

I think it’s a spiffy idea to go by your project bags every month. Thumbelina turned out really cute. I stitch in one or two strands for backstitching depending on the look I’m going for, and agree sometimes 2 makes for a more fun and illustrated look. Happy 2023!
