What do you use tape runner for? Is it like double sided tape? I had a spendy day today too. Adult Son and I have flown to Melbourne yesterday and return tomorrow, seeing a concert tonight at Rod Laver. What did I buy today? A top at the F1 store on Elizabeth St and then bought fabric and patterns at Tessuti Fabrics on Flinders Lane. Thankfully I didn't spend as much as I could have.

If you ever come across to SA, you should stop in at Hahndorf where the Beerenberg farm shop is. In summer you can pick your own strawberries.

I used to be on checkout at Franklin's supermarket 30-35 years ago. I lived and worked in a high poverty stricken area of Adelaide back then. I had a family come in and do their fortnightly grocery shop. As I was ringing them up, hubby remembered he needed money to go to the Adelaide show in a few days. Instead of returning his 2 cartons of cigarettes, he made his wife return their children's school snacks. I definitely live by ... The customer is not always right.

You need a new dentist. Hubby has recently had 2 root canals which cost $800-900 each

as someone with epilepsy i can relate ! i have those and i jerk sometimes. you in a way you freeze. but you have a treatment plan now which is great and its better to have those diagnosed! which is wonderful and since september is a huge deal so well done :) good job!

I have my Dr appointment tomorrow too. It's been a marathon to see him in person. I tore my meniscus in the last week of September. I sought immediate attention at hospital. Later I booked 2 appointments in the clinic and they cancelled on me. Dr also does obstetrics so baby deliveries get priority. Then, I booked an in-person appointment in the first week of December, for my knee. I got COVID so my in-person knee appointment became a phone appointment for COVID. He left forms at the desk, for when I was better, for blood tests. Then, I had another appointment but that was changed to a pneumonia appointment. Fun medical year for me indeed. At least all testing is complete and I'll see him in person for the first time in a year.

It can be difficult, but at least you have a plan. All the best

Good morning Cait, I save my flybuys points for when I visit my sister in Melbourne. I should be housesitting for her later this year and so far have enough points to buy enough petrol to get there and half way back, from near Adelaide. I'll try and get enough points for food too. I do have the cash for them but I'd rather use my cash for more enjoyable things in Melbourne.
