You have to prime it first before the first use.
It’s called prime ; unless you get the magicwand type ,it doesn’t make any noise

You actually do not like coffee if you have to add cream and sugar. Might as well drink tea and leave coffee drinking to us real coffee lovers.
Can you use paper liners in the scoop ?
Yes, you can #1 size filters ( Amazon Affiliate link - amzn.to/3wdoBtO ) work well. Scoop your coffee into the metal scoop, and place the #1 filter under the metal scoop and into the machine.
The most important part is to have the grind setting to full coarse so that the compacted stuff can fall away from the lower burr. I put a handful of rice through mine after this and it seems to break everything else loose and leave the burrs clean. 😁

The instructions in my grinder say that rice will ruin the blades of a conical grinder.
I just got one of these, and fresh out of the box it's exhibiting the issue at 4:21. I've been removing and re-seating the reservoir a bunch of times, but haven't had any success so far. Anyone else have a more concrete solution or am I going to be stuck returning it?

I personally find the original version superior to this one considering the issues you had with it. I suppose if mine ever breaks, I'll have to decide on this one, or find another higher quality single-serve maker.
There are visible fines in the coffee. Good cold brew rule number 1 : you can see through it, it is clean. This coldbrew is rather very messy looking.
A fail light and then the temperature not hot enough? How do you not consider this a total fail?!

The wick has been pulled out way too far and they might be using the wrong fuel.
Never put tap water in it. Not even filtered water. I use distilled water. No minerals to clog it up. People dont get it.
"Accidentally" breaking things makes a great excuse to buy new stuff!
What kind of grounds I need. They one I’m using the coffee is not coming out like in the video!
You need to use Espresso ground.

Do you use the same amount of coffee? Or you use less?
I use a little more than the recommended 2/3 cup of coffee, but I like my coffee strong. So for the average person 2/3 cup maybe strong enough.
Is it better than the Keurig?
In my opinion, yes since you can add more or less coffee to the scoop, you can adjust the flavor/strength and your not limited to k cups.

It looks like you can use this machine to make structured water. This might be a better use for this machine. From the reviews on Amazon, the coffee is weak and the machine is a pain to clean afterwards.
Thanks for the comment, I did notice you have to add more than the recommended 2/3 cup of coffee for a good cup of coffee. I didn’t really have trouble with cleanup. I dumped the grounds in the trash, and wash the carafe, filter and cup that goes in the bottom of the carafe in the dishwasher.
Structured water doesn't exist.
I've been looking for a good inexpensive cold brewer and this one keeps catching my eye. The reviews are so mixed between positive and negative on anything anymore it's impossible to truly know unless you buy and try for yourself. LOL
@@coffeelogik I've seen on other reviews that some ppl run it for 30 minutes and/or use more coffee. I'm sure it's a "desired taste" thing...
