    I have been on very successful intermittent fasting for a year. It was mainly to cure my pre-diabetic diagnosis, but it has also helped with fat/weight loss. Medical studies actually prove that pure Stevia, Monkfruit or Erythritol DO NOT have any affect on blood glucose or insulin levels. One study even indicated that pure Stevia has a POSITIVE influence for diabetics. Having these natural sweeteners are very helpful in maintaining the intermittent fasting routine. I am a little disappointed in this podcast that ALL sweeteners were put into one category. Hope this information is helpful.

      @JamesLaughlinOfficial Roads with tolls is ridiculous,we are not Australia, and we do not receive Australian wages.. We pay a dollar more at the petrol pump than Australians, yet our currency is 5-7 cents less.. We pay exported prices for products that fail exporting protocols or are made locally, e.g, lamb, cheese ,.. We pay the highest prices for the internet and entertainment platforms in the world. The cost of living is high because of the effects from covid and high inflation,but strategically, giving taxcuts for landlords and taxcuts in general during a time of fiscal spending was not the correct move. Also, knowing Luxon benefited directly from these poor ideas does not sit well with my moral compass.Cutting social programs that help working families and cutting school lunches was another cost that is not covered by the taxcuts given to working families. This is their 1st year in power, and they need to stop projecting their failures on to Labour.. You could have kept the public servants if you didn't do the taxcuts in my view.. More money in the economy helps small businesses stay a float, and so many small businesses are closing or feeling the pinch because money is a lot tighter due to high unemployment and their poor policies..

      @JamesLaughlinOfficial Someone asked me once ,what do you think we can do with our current system of capitalism to make it better, and I said "Capitalism and Socialism both have good and bad qualities for the majority of people, if we take the good qualities from both systems, I think we could make a beneficial system for everyone!" We already have incorporated socialism in our society e.g Public health systems,public housing, etc,and these help a majority of our citizens, but to have these social programs everyone will need to be taxed accordingly and that means the ultra wealthy as well.. The problem with Capitalism is the people with the most capital control the government and they make policies to benefit the wealthy with taxcuts . Then you don't have money for infrastructure, education, health systems etc Majority of the world has become an aging population because it is to hard for the working class to pay for the cost of living as well as 2 and a half children in our modern society ! ( 2 and a half children is needed to cover the parents and the half is just incase of an accident). New Zealand is a small fish compared to the world and we could sustain ourselves if necessary. Choosing the right leader who is not corrupted and truly wants to help the majority of kiwis is paramount!🤔

    • @adrianfairlie1584
      @adrianfairlie1584 17 часов назад

      @JamesLaughlinOfficial Obviously, with socialism it won't work when you have a dictatorship because the only way to hold a leader accountable is the democratic process of voting . Getting back to having a leader who is not corrupt and actually cares about the majority is paramount,we have a leader of a declining great power who is known for corruption and sexual assault and has the power of all 3 bodies of government, judicial ,legislative and now executive. Quite interesting times. 🤔

It is obviously dangerous. Given NZ has no laws on monitoring and surveillance, how can NZers be sure that NZ’s intelligence agencies have the right judgement to use the enormous powers they have.
