is there a way for the user to align these two once installed?
When I click on C-POS, I get an error message 8306 (serial communication timed out). I tried reconnecting the cable and turning it off but it doesn’t work
Is your Biostack connected to an ELx405 or EL406? If so, you'll need to first enable Biostack Mode. This is done by navigating to SETUP -> BIOSTACK -> BIOSTACK UTILITIES -> CONF and changing from Manual Mode to Biostack Mode.
How would one go about doing a full plate transfer? For example, if I had a 96-well plate and wanted to fill each individual well, how would I do that?

If your dispense sequence covers the whole target plate it will fill each well with liquid. If you want to adjust the number of wells each time you run your method it becomes a little bit more complicated.

What if there is no initialize step in the method editor?
There is a setting that needs to be enabled in the software in order for that step to be available. Email us at service@dcmbio.com and we can send you the procedure.

Is there a video or step-by-step for how to create a washing step for a 384-well plate, where the head stamp is still a 96-head?
We do not have a video outlining 384 wash step generation, but the procedure is very similar to the 96 wash step. Only ELx405 Select, Select CW, and HT units are capable of washing 384 well plates with the 96 format manifolds, so please be sure to check your washer model. When creating the wash protocol, simply specify the plate type as 384. You will need to specify the wash format after selecting number of wash cycles, with options for Plate Format (each cycle is performed on the entire plate before proceeding) or Sector Format (each cycle is completed in a quadrant before moving on to the next quadrant). We recommend double-checking the dispense and aspirate alignments using the adjust utility to confirm the pin positions. Most 384 well plates will run with the default 0,0 positions for X and Y, but non-standard plates will require an offset. The adjust utility will only need to be used for the first quadrant wells, as the washer will calculate the other quadrant locations automatically.

How many times can the tips be reused?
Good, high quality tips should be able to handle 5-10 uses before they should be discarded.
I have a problem with my machine. Every time I put her to run she accuses that the door is open. for it to work normally, I have to turn it all off, close the program and then call to go home all. would there be a way to turn off this sensor of hers for it to run normally?
