The hydraulic pump is struggling to maintain hydraulic pressure to the suspension system . I can hear it turning on and off on and off,very frequently. It should only turn on a two minute cycle, under normal hydraulic load. This means it will turn on every two minutes. I have one of these ,same build year,just different colour. On this one, the air vents on the front bumper bar ( for air conditioner air intake ) are missing. The hubcaps are not Pallas,but from the DS Super. There should be no Pallas script on the rear boot lid, just DS23. Otherwise a nice clean DS23.
Les enjoliveurs de roues ne sont pas ceux d'une Pallas mais d'une confort! Grave erreur! Beaucoup de DS ont été " palassisé" mais pas dans les règles de l'art. Il y a plein de détails spécifiques aux Pallas qu'il faut respecter, sinon on ne fait rien!
@@Chris-kc3is Au ralenti, qui est excellent, le système hydropneumatique travaille correctement. Mon père avait failli acheter une ID 19, mais il a préféré la GS, à cause du refroidissement par air( il avait une traction )
Hello - I take it 10 months after the fact that you've already sold this beauty? My father had a DS23 years ago and I am currently looking for one, even if it is in need of some TLC as I only had good memories of it. Because we've been out of the Classic Citroen market for such a long time it now breaks my heart to see that most of them are being shipped out of SA making it harder to come by and in the end we are losing out on the vast amount of history. Otherwise, all the best on your side and trust that she did put a smile on your face @ quite a few occasions :)
c'est du roulage, seulement du roulage mais on voit la bête de près, c'est l'ULM qui me fait le + fantasmer (après le FW 190 ) et avec lequel on peut chasser le paon - voir cette vid -

Oui ! On peut traverser 15 cm d' eau en position très haute, la DS se trouve, à ce moment là, entre 25 et 30 cm au dessus du niveau du sol.

The Pallas built in South-Arica definitely had the Pallas badge on the boot as per this vehicle.

The Citroen-badge on the bonnet should be mounted slightly slanting or oblique, not straight, as it is now. Otherwise a very nice car.
