How hard would it be to turn up a NTC300 Big Cam 3 to a NTC400? Or a 444 I've been looking at cummins CPL matrix and is it just a matter of different injectors and pistons or a cam for 444 and i think i seen one 440 on there prior to the 444. I guess how much can i crank the wimpy 300 up in my 1985 international 9300? Also wanting to switch the 9 speed to a 13
555 with a factory file?

Should it be put in tank before filling diesel or mid way or after tank is full?
Not bad at all! Especially with the small turbo they have. Max stock would have been 505/1850 and pounded more then that at the tires!
What software do you use for custom tuning?
Over 900 is damn good it sounded like you loaded the dyno pretty good
I remember doing some research recently and this company came up and mentioned this engine and if I remember right 800hp.
Where is the location ?
Is that a 14l with no egr and those parts are the made in the USA 🇺🇸?
I got a Pittsburgh tune for 600 on my 12.7 which was a factory 500, so far so good power wise with crappy 2.64 rear gears

I bought this off this site and they sent me a little bitty bottle about big as a ink pen not enough to treat maybe a half gallon of fuel don't fall for the scam

Hi , thats interesting , I always have run Cummins but the one thing I always insisted on was shit trap tanks welded on the bottom of the tanks usually at the front being the lowest . ide drain those once a year youd be amazed how much crap came out black water an dirt . didnt change the filter very much only when i felt her tugging a bit then find a slope swap over to new filter and ring dry back in the cab get her rolling drop the clutch and away 2-3 seconds she fired up no problems . never had pump or injector problems . yea its a must ! ...

@@kizerbread depends on the day really. Seems like we’re seeing less and less these days.
One gauge per cylinder on stationary diesels is mandatory on large applications to closely monitor efficiency & abnormalities in/of individual cylinders components.
I melted down a 444xt Cummins in 97. Why called 3 hours at maximum fuel and speed trying to get home for a major medical issue involving a family member. She didn't like 1300 degree EGTs and melted cylinder 2 blew a hole in 4 swallowed an intake in 5 but kept on running. She sounded like a bucket of bolts were in the crankcase at the end. Boss overhauled her into a 850 hp at the ground 1k crank monster.

About 1000 to 1300 degrees is what it can handle. Anymore and you’re pushing.

1000 degrees is a safe number for the C15.

The quarry I work has a Cat 769D that has a 3408. Sounds really good. It also rarely has any power train issues, most of the times the machine it’s never the motor

There's no wind resistance on a Dyno so of course fuel economy will go up.
N14 and Series 60 are the best on road diesels ever made.
C15's can handle 2000+ horsepower, n14 blocks split at 850 🤔
WD 40 provide same results.
