Regular oil definitely every 5k but with synthetic we change every 10k normally under around 8k most the time but never over 10k for synthetic.
Pretty sure its in the name lol
This man lives and breaths powertrain.
4 Wheel Drive gets you stuck farther from the highway.
Getting stuck or not getting stuck
The difference is in how far from civilization you are before you finally get stuck.
I was wishing he said this
2wd without a posi only puts power to one wheel 4wd without posi only sends power to one of the front wheels and one of the back wheels Awd all wheels turn but the power split is dependent on the transfer case Posi means both wheels on the rear, front, or both will receive power.
Dumbo...

Why pay someone to remove a drain plug and filter.
I Change it every 5 k and rotate tires. I only use synthetic oil and haven’t had an oil elated failure in 40 years! Before synthetic oils were popular or cheap enough to afford, I changed It every 3 k. I bought a 1986 Toyota pickup new and blew the head gasket at 230 k. During the tear down I was amazed how clean and new all the internals looked!
325k miles I’m constantly changing my oil because it’s always leaking out 😂😂
I mean one dose not need a certified tech to change oil, you can do it at home but just be carefull how youndispose of it
I go about 10k miles and have a 97 cobra with 350k miles on it and runs like new I run the hell out of it with single turbo and factory bottom end but I use the best oil you can get royal purple I run it in everything
Not just oil but brakes and tyres too!
My v8 every 3k miles like a clock
AMSOIL...enough said!
Don't you hate when the car pees on you.
3k miles is perfect. Take care of your stuff and it takes care of you
Remember, the OEM only cares about getting the car out of the warranty period, after that it's not their problem. Their recommendations are not pure engineering, they are marketing and profit driven. Change it once a year, at least.
i follow manufacturers recommendation .
That’s why your car won’t last over 150k😂😂
Never seen a guy screw up like that before. Was it on purpose for the video? or is she really that ignorant
You seem like a nice person.
Replacement parts cost
That's a Trump voter. Didn't expect that did you. Gay Biden.
domestics are so over engineered you can't change the oil without taking the body off first. what a joke
THANK YOU, THAT WAS A THOROUGH AND EASILY UNDERSTOOD EXPLANATION.
and...?
The difference is America can have a 7 litre engine and 150 horsepower and European cars can have 1.00 litres and have the same amount of power
Wrong
Instead of asking the difference between cars, why not ask what's wrong with "Americans" who can't afford the net results of government mandates?.
I drive a 2013 Mini Cooper. It’s very expensive to work on. 1 taillight mechanism burned out and cost me over $600. And the only place I found that could work on it while under warranty was located 400 miles away.
Garbage.... They're all pure garbage.
Mine was a 1965 Ford Falcon.
Ford: Found on Road Dead
Handsome guys on this channel ❤
Buy Japanese..... ALWAYS.
Yeah I can confirm older shit is way easier to work on used to just have to balance the 5 humors air, fuel, spark, timing, and compression. You still have to do all that but now you have to please the computer gods as well
What is domestic??What country?
BS
Yeah its called a manual transmision. No need to complicate that answer so much
I don‘t think manuals are harder to repair.
The fewer parts a machine is made of the less chance of something failing
I feel sorry for anyone that has this uneducated clown working on their car
And most Europeans and American cars are also that European car come a manual transmission
Domestic cars rust out twice as fast
modern cars are computers, dealerships call the guys in the garage "system technicians". not mechanics.
European cars are asssssssssssssss
Try to say that to the germans their leading in evolution of cars
cause you cant afford one?
@@kami1tapfaceitkami1tapface44 new zr1 begs to differ, new gtd begs to differ, the new viper begs to differ. Stfu up, yall can’t even make an engine without over engineering. Just another euro dickrider. “ bUt i CaN MAke A CorNEr” 🤣🫵🏼🤡
@@Bleed1987 nah cuz they suck and don’t even bro, your name is bleed 1986, you prolly have oil in your driveway rn fn
@@Bleed1987 mfs will spend their whole check on a payment and another on repairs and say I can’t afford one 🤣 I’m a licensed plumber, if you know you know, so sit and spin mf
European cars overcomplication that does not lead to being more reliable but have just as much failure rate as Domestic but 3x the price to keep on the road
Nowadays... Noting theyre all trash past 2009
With this in mind, would you recommend a Saab as a first car?
I would, I’ve had a few. Just maybe try to check if you can get parts for the model you want, because not all of them has as common engines as the rest, but other than that very many still makes and sells new and used parts for them:) My first car was a 1995 900 SE, very comfortable car to drive and very nice seats:)
Do you have a model in mind?
@@lassebjrnevik8291 I'm thinking a 2004 9-3
What brand would you say is the easiest to work on?
Probably Tesla...electric motor, and no interior parts. The magic box will also tell you what's wrong.
Great explanation. Thanks
