Regular oil definitely every 5k but with synthetic we change every 10k normally under around 8k most the time but never over 10k for synthetic.

2wd without a posi only puts power to one wheel 4wd without posi only sends power to one of the front wheels and one of the back wheels Awd all wheels turn but the power split is dependent on the transfer case Posi means both wheels on the rear, front, or both will receive power.

I Change it every 5 k and rotate tires. I only use synthetic oil and haven’t had an oil elated failure in 40 years! Before synthetic oils were popular or cheap enough to afford, I changed It every 3 k. I bought a 1986 Toyota pickup new and blew the head gasket at 230 k. During the tear down I was amazed how clean and new all the internals looked!

Remember, the OEM only cares about getting the car out of the warranty period, after that it's not their problem. Their recommendations are not pure engineering, they are marketing and profit driven. Change it once a year, at least.

Just maybe try to check if you can get parts for the model you want, because not all of them has as common engines as the rest, but other than that very many still makes and sells new and used parts for them:) My first car was a 1995 900 SE, very comfortable car to drive and very nice seats:)
