Hey y'all. If my Shepard gave the Collector Base to Cerberus, does it make sense for him to choose the Control ending?

How were you able to do all those missions before doing legions loyalty mission like I tried to do his but it would always get me in the cutscene to start the final mission sadly any suggestions?

I havent played yet since I only just got the game but I was curious of the endings so looking at this the best options seems to be control or destroy fun I have no idea what to pick

I think Shimura knew he would lose and wanted to give Jin the chance to show that he still had honor. I think Jin never lost his honor because of the desperate circumstance. If Shimura was spared then he'd have to hunt his son, which he doesn't want. I like the choices between endings. The armor dye for this even makes you look a ghost, compared to the samurai dye. But I think even though the player doesn't want to kill him, this is the only way to salvage the relationship.

This game was so good. Could you believe the devs said when they interviewed 8 year old kids these random kids said ohh yer this game is so childish lol. That’s why jak 2 was as edgy as it was. I love the trilogy but 1 had such a unique charm to it and was the best.

I picked Destroy because f*ck the Reapers, the Collectors, and Cerberus. Sad that EDI and the now peaceful Geth were killed but the whole point was to stop the Reapers, so I did that.

This was the best outcome. Even though your Shepherd doesn't survive, the Reapers will not come back. Instead of them being enemies, you control them, and they are your allies. The illusive man was right, but he had evil intentions. With Shepherd, it's pure he's out his protect everyone in the universe, and with the Reapers by their side, the Galaxy will be even a safer place.

I have to strongly disagree with the statement that some make that “all our decisions did not matter in the end”. The volume of war assets you accumulate prior to the final battle are directly tied to which final choices are or are not provided to you: 1. Destroy with low war assets (everyone is devastated) 2. Destroy with high war assets (less devastation overall, more damage targeted specific to the Reapers). 3. Control 4. Synthesis It is also worth noting that some of the biggest war assets factors are determined by how one resolves the Quarian-Geth conflict and the Genophage storyline. The former is very influenced by weather or not Tali and Legion are alive and if you side with one, or manage to facilitate peace between them. Additionally, Mordin’s side mission from Mass Effect 2 ties into the Genophage in 3 and weather or not Wrex survived Mass Effect 1 (vs having Wreav) may influence your choices regarding the Krogan. The game deserves more credit than it often gets for making *some* choices matter for sure.
