Welcome To Layers Of Cooking!
I believe great cooking is all about the layers-of flavour, technique, and texture.
After a self inflicted cooking career of 8+ years around several professional kitchens in London, I realised Grandma Style cooking is my favourite way to cook. This is the purpose of this channel, making all the fun cooking at the comfort of your own kitchen.
Cooking has always been one of my personal favourite way of connecting with people, and I hope to inspire you to try new things in your kitchen. (To learn, grow and share with you the best bits of the great bites around!)
A VERY BIG THANK YOU if you decide to join me and support me on this journey here on RUclips -let’s cook, create, and enjoy every delicious dish together!

Want Fresh Homemade SOURDOUGH Bread? Do It With POOLISH!
In this video I am using Poolish Technique.
Because of the 2 types of flour, it has a mildly aroma of the sourdough with a toasted scent, the texture it's light and puffy on the interior with a crunchy baguette like texture on the exterior!
Like the one I did today you will see that because after overnight cold rise(fermentation) I left it out for 1 hour only and that might not have been enough "warm" proofing, and the result is a slightly denser dough.
For the bread to grow to its max and have the traditional looking air pockets inside leave it for around 1.5 hour on it's final rise!
-Very important If you do a cold rise overnight in the fridge (like I did) just make sure you leave it out ...
