Why did i found this so late? Im really into it

I watched this the night it aired. I think my parents were watching it with me, they started freaking out, because they thought Alice had gone off the deep end on live TV, I told them "no, this is a part of his act." At that point the dancers started appearing, and I said "told you so." 😂

Never get away with that on live TV anymore. I'm surprised it was allowed even back then! Imagine what else exists in TV archives from just the USA of Alice's live TV performances, never mind any other country.

So that's where all these drummers over the years got, walking around the drum kit during a drum solo. This was groundbreaking drumming in 1969. What a badass this man was!

This is what made Alice special.... great music and a total willingness to break the rules. He and his original band was always underrated as songwriters and tunesmiths. So many good songs! Too bad the alcohol wiped him out...for the better part of 10 yrs. If he'd stayed the course he set in the early 70's he would have been as successful and durable as Aerosmith, The Stones... selling out arenas to this day, most likely. Great to see he is still touring and is sober... his shows are well done and still disturbing. Rock on!
