Operating profits were $3.5 million, an increase of $1.6 million or approximately 84%, as compared to the comparable period of the prior fiscal year. The increase in operating profits was primarily attributed to higher level of sales achieved by the Elite label product line during the quarter ended September 30, 2024, as compared to the comparable period of the prior year. I don't think RFK or anyone else will have any affect on pharma's focus on sub q tech. $34 billion market and several billion dollar deals are already in place. The $15 million in debt will be paid with a new loan they secured earlier this year. So they either pay that off or it converts to shares? Not exactly sure how that works. Should not affect cash levels though. Might burn around $30 million next year and start generating cash after that so it seems we have plenty of cash. Only time will tell though. We all know that stock price at times has little to do with reality. We could be a lot higher based on what this company could become but we also have no profits so the value is technically zero at this point. I think $6 would be a fair price right now but well aware that won't happen without some huge news.

Had to bail on this one. If you read their last 8k, they warn of being unprofitable for at least the next year. This is a massive change from their prior 8k

I bought some calls, swung for the fences, and lost. LOL I'm OK with that, I knew the risks and rewards and felt the reward was worth the risk. In retrospect, perhaps I should have a bought a straddle ie buying both Calls and Puts to guarantee a profit as long as there was a move up or down in the stock price. Thanks for the information.

Good news, I bought some options with a $10 strike price at 15 cents per contract. If we get the good news and the stock pops to around $10 per share, do you have an idea what the options will be worth at that time? I am curious as to the ability to make more money on a $10 (15 cent cost )vs a $7.50 (55 cent cost)strike call Jan 17, 2025 expiration. You can get a $1 increase per contract after the stock prices goes above [Strike_Price + Cost_Of_Contract]. For example, buying a $7.50 contract we get $1 for $1 move after the stock price goes above $8.05. Before that, you get a percentage per dollar increase in price. Background: I have usually bought options strike price very close to the current strike price if I thought the stock was going to go up to guarantee 1. A profit 2. The maximum profit This protected my investment since being wrong on either the amount of increase in stock price OR date that the increase should occur will wreck an options contract purchase. I am tempted to buy the $10 dollar calls for ARDX but wanted your thoughts on buying $10 vs $7.50 calls wrt to maximum possible profits if let's say with spend $1,000 on calls. Sounds like a good risk:reward strategy, but my broker in the UK doesn’t allow me to do that. So I will continue to hold my 21,460 shares and keep my fingers crossed that one of the 2 scenarios you mentioned will happen in the next 2 months. My belief is that the odds are favourable as it’s clear that CMS stance will hurt those on dialysis in 2025 and we have a strong management team plus David Mott to argue our case. Even the downside should only drop the SP until the quarterlies show ongoing progress next year. 🤞

Why do you think all the Halozyme products took 6 years on average from announcement of deal to approval? Seems like the timeline should be the same as Xeris formulations. Paul said a few times that significant Xeriject revenue was 5-6 years away. Closer to 2030. Do you have experience working for companies putting drugs through trials and getting approval? Most of these deals for other companies bring in $150 million so it would make a little sense if this was 3-4 years for $75 million. Are you expecting an update from Xeris or Amgen on this before NDA?

You totally missed the Opportunity in the Bipolar 1 market for Fanapt which is MUCH BIGGER than the schizophrenia market. There are many switchers in the bipolar 1 market due to efficacy and side effects. The side effect profile of Fanapt is quite mild and therefore Fanapt has proven to be quite sticky with the Schizophrenia patients. They just started marketing Fanapt in the BP1 market in July. This is going to be quite profitable for VNDA as a far larger percentage of patients in the BP1 market are commercial patients as opposed to about 45% of the patients in schizophrenia being on medicaid and far less profitable. Watch VNDA do very well when Fanapt takes off in BP1. Watch their recent fireside chat for your information straight from the CEO.

Saw this news below few days ago, bought some and share price still drop, sigh ~ An approval decision can now be expected for lovo-cel or lovotibeglogene autotemcel before the Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA) goal date of 20 December 2023. If greenlit, it will be bluebird bio’s third FDA-approved gene therapy, adding to Zynteglo (betibeglogene autotemce) and Skysona (elivaldogene autotemcel) for the treatment of thalassemia and cerebral adrenoleukodystrophy, respectively.
