I am learning guitar and maybe you could help. How do I make my guitar/amp sound this way? I can't figure it out. I understand guitar enough to be able to play stuff like this but cannot figure out the amp stuff, please help! BTW this is awesome!
Hi! The sound is made by the mics on your guitar and by the type of your amp. For this sound, I used my Marshall JVM410H (you can see it in my back) and a cab simulator (Torpedo Wall of Sound). The guitar mic is an EMG and I use the red channel distorsion on the Head to have this sound. The sound you want come from you guitar mics and from your amp, if you can't have the type of sound that you want, you can buy distorsion pedal or use plug ins which simulate a lot of amps to choose the one you want to buy. What is your gear? Guitar, amp and pedals?
