Only realised in later years how lucky I was to have such great parents Sisters of Mercy 🥺 I was clever but wasn't from the right road / estate or parish. But made best friends sitting in the back with the kids from the "convent" Dev and his nose stuck up the church and his opinion of women. Ffs I always wanted to join the army, in Ireland because I was a female i couldn't. In 1980 the British army would have enlisted me.
