Removing center console. Car stuck in park windows won't roll down and fuse has no power but still good. Tested parking Actuator, has power but the ECU needed to be reset. Disconnected the battery for 15 minutes and reconnecting fixed the issue.

Is there any way to do it if you don't have a key? I lost it
This helped me shift it with no power, but I can't push it anyway. It's like the brake is locked on.
Lets keep it 100, sounds the same as the $1,000 version deadass
Ty bro! 1st time honda owner w no manual appreciate u sharing this I was going buts trying to figure it out..😂

Great video! No bullshitting, no extra detail information that nobody uses or cares. God on my second account just to give you the extra like, thank you
What a useless video..
check our video for custom kia shift knob.
big help- you showed the switch- thanks
5 years later and came in handy
Very good!
This video saved my behind a couple years ago when my battery died. I forgot to say thank you man!
Dam Brotha! If it wasn't for you taking the time to make and post this video, I would have been stranded. I bought a car from a dealership that is no longer in bizz (paid the car off). I couldn't start my dam car. so heard the beeping. broke off the zip tie bcuz it was so far up by the steering column. Googled the data from the back and called customer service. They wouldn't give me the passcode or reset this dam device. They said to email them a picture ID and Clean Title so they can email me an install tool/document. Then they said call an automotive company to remove the device and reverse the wiring back to its original configuration and to return the device. I just did like you did and my ride is running. Thank you!!!!!!!!
Mines have a green cord I’m lost rn need help
Really??? Bro, this was useless.
Thank u bro
Thanks for the video 😊
What type of heat gun did you use. I tried one, but not sure if it got hot enough?
Bro it was broken 😂 he off them xans🤣
not his car
Its easy when you know what you're doing. And now I know. 😂 TY
Do you know how to change and remove the top part from this?
Thanks man! Had to do this to remove a 2mm piece of plastic that was jamming up the whole thing.
Did you just order the slip-on canister or did you order the mid-pipe as well ??
Wow thank uou
Thank you❤🌹 thank you so much😊
Man can you help me with this right now
Good
Thank you for this!! I had to replace an Elantra 2014 knob and couldn't find much information as it has the retaining clips from underneath. Key was prying around the boot tabs to pull it out.
Can i do this without the keys
i just did it i didn’t touch any wires or anything all i did was unplug the relay and my car started working i have a 2018 ford focus but it could possibly work on other cars that way you don’t break your contract if you have one but still pay your bills it won’t last forever only when you need it for emergencies
How did u find your relay plug?
@@kaylashack865 there is a part in your car where your opp is usually under the wheel of the car or under where you pop your trunk at i opened that & since i have small hands i stuck my hand in it & reach around until i found this black gps next to it was a rely but it was stuck tg so i can to cut it & i tried to put it out where the hole is but it’s to short so i just moved my wheel up & pulled it out from my wheel that why i could plug the relay back in & out… i hope this makes sense wish i could take a picture of sum to better explain
Appreciate it bro! 🙏🏾 Cause I check quad lock website and unfortunately they only have the fork stem which 06 CBR don’t cause of the steering stabilizer
That was really helpful! Thank you so much!
Did you make this setup? How would you review this pipe after 2years?
thanks I did it and it works but one question can the car company realize that I did it?
I'm an used car dealer that offers in-house financing (Buy Here, Pay Here). I use devices such as these (but never this particular model), so I might can offer a little insight. Keep in mid, however, that not all dealers are like me. All of the devices that I have used (I've been through 3 different models) all sent me a notification if they had been tampered with. But, for me, that's not enough for me to repossess. I won't repossess unless there is a lack of payment, or cancellation of insurance. But after repossessing the car, I will pay an ASE certified technician to inspect the vehicle for tampering of the device. If he/she finds that the device has been tampered with, I will refuse any attempt from the customer to reinstate the loan. That's because under Uniform Commercial Code, Article 1 (General Provisions), Part 3 (Territorial Applicability and General Rules), Section 309 (Option to Accelerate at Will), if the lender (that would be me) believes that the prospect of payment or performance has been impaired (like when a customer tampers with the GPS), then I can demand that the customer pay off the entire loan, every penny, in the next 10 days, or I keep the car, I keep the down payment, and I keep any payments made up until that point. If the customer traded-in a vehicle at the time of purchase, I keep that too. The customer could sue me, but the customer has to prove that I was unreasonable in believing that the customer wasn't going to hide the car, which is kind of hard to do if I have a technician (ASE Certified, which means that the courts recognize as an expert qualified to give testimony) and that technician testifies that he found that the device had been tampered with. This is a little overkill because the burden of proof isn't on me, the burden of proof is on the customer. The last sentence of Section 309 states, "The burden of establishing lack of good faith is on the party against which the power has been exercised." I've also learned to immediately report the repossession to the credit bureaus so that if the customer tries to get a loan from a bank to pay off the loan, the bank will see that the customer is trying to get a loan on a car that they just had repossessed. Meanwhile the 10 days are just ticking away. You wouldn't believe how many people think that tampering with the device is okay. It's only April, and so far I have had to do this to 3 customers this year. The first was a girl who dropped a downpayment of nearly $2k on an Impala, and then stopped paying. So I flipped the switch, and instead of catching up on her payments, she tampered with the device. Now she's without the Impala, or the down payment. Same story with someone who got a Buick Enclave, and then a Mazda CX-7. I love my job
i agree with john davis but so far mines has not but KEEP paying your bill regardless cause they’ll found out
This a common failure sadly for these sorentos.I have a 2015 sx and I am on my second camera.
Thanks brother!! This is exactly what I needed to see. It's the same for a 2015 Kia Sorento. Mine is the SLX but I imagine that the shift knob is the same in 2014-2015 for Kia's no matter what trim level.
You just saved me 1635 dollars. I took it to an electrician and they wanted to replace the whole thing..
Hey I have a Hyundai azera 2015 with the same shift knob so far I took the leather part off like you did and pulled it didn't come off. The knob I opened up to and no go how hard do I have to pull and to see if I modify it for something after market if I can keep the leather part I will or use all new systems.
Thx bro!
Thanku
Thank you
ruclips.net/video/vpIK5p_QtNw/видео.html I made a video about how to get the boot off of the old shift knob. Hope it helps someone.
The title of this video should be, " How to make a useless video"
Normally when someone removes their shifter knob it is to replace it and not just to stick it back on. It would be good to show how to get the boot off and install it on the new shift knob. That would certainly be a critical part of this procedure. A small flat head screwdriver and push the tabs on both sides of the boot flange inward then gently remove it. It can then slide on the new knob. Make sure you push it all the way in until it clicks and catches. Then reinstall the knob like shown.
Facts fr they never show how to remove the boot. But ima try your advice hopefully it work
I seen this. I wonder if the guy every seen this video. He ended up crashing on the exit ramp.
1:02 shows the part number. At kia dealership
Thank you! When you pull up on the knob the whole thing comes off in one piece
How do you get the center console up?
