F the owner(s) of this address. When I was a kid (late 80's - early 90's), I lived around the corner on Taluga Dr. and I would regularly drive by this house on my bicycle with tremendous speed after riding down the higher elevation of Nocatee Dr. and making a left turn onto the sidewalk in front of this address (which I had the right-of-way to do, considering there's no stop sign or anything on Nocatee Dr. when making that left turn). Even though I was very young at the time, I still took the safety of others into consideration and I didn't want to put anyone into any kind of danger while riding my bike. That is why I always took that turn a bit wider than necessary - out of concern for the safety of others who may be using the sidewalk. I did this because there was a chance that due to the increased speed resulting from from riding down the hill that leads to that left turn combined with watching for traffic that may be coming from the opposite direction prior to making the turn, I may not have had time to see someone standing on that part of the sidewalk which was a bit visually obstructed due to how Nocatee Dr. curves to the right, combined with vegetation growing on the corner where the stop sign is on WaKeNa Dr. I did this so much for like a year straight or more that it simply became muscle memory to swing that turn a little wide as a precautionary measure. In fact, you could even see a small, worn-out path in a part of their grass next to the sidewalk that was left by my bicycle tires making that turn before hopping back onto the sidewalk. I would often see the occupants in their driveway and would wave at them as I rode by (and they often waved back at me). They knew that I did this pretty much every day, yet they never tried to stop me or say anything about it. Well, they apparently didn't like the fact that my bicycle was creating a little trail in their yard by the sidewalk (guess it may have had a tiny impact on their property value or something) so you know what they did? They built a friggin concrete wall on either side of their driveway, perpendicular to and literally butting up against the sidewalk - right over the path where you could clearly see that my bicycle tire tracks had worn. Of course, they never informed me that they were doing this so can you guess what happened? That's right - I smacked right into that stupid wall at a high rate of speed without realizing that it was even there because that's simply what I did every single time I made that turn which was practically every day that the weather permitted and I had permission to go out and ride my bike. I wound up with a serious concussion and nearly died because of this, and the doctors and I consider myself lucky to be alive after the impact to my brain. No remorse whatsoever was ever shown on their part and that ridiculous, tacky-looking wall is still there to this date. They were pretty quick to clean up the blood stain that I left on their wall though while I was busy fighting for my life in the ER so I guess they did something at least...
