My main interests are buses and fire apparatus. But I like various other vehicles as well. I post other things not related to transportation as well. WELS LUTHERAN, BACK THE BADGE. GOD BLESS AMERICA.Trump Republican. Not a sports fan.

The CBC BUTTERFLY was to CBC what the NBC PEACOCK is to NBC. More or less a mascot to promote color programs.

Sealed With A Kiss - Percy Faith & His Orchestra?
@@georgehardcastle2344 No. HOLLYRIDGE STRINGS.
Fantastic
Hell yea
1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣🔟🍦🍨
That's the American Contemporary sounder which debuted 1/1/68 when ABC radio split into four networks.
This song has haunted me all though my teenage years till now. It is lovely. I heard this version on Music Choice easy listening which I listen to every day. I took a chance to look it up on RUclips to see it was posted. Yes, here it is. Thank you for posting this version.
@@marciapeak893 Glad you like it. That song reminds me of the wife and girlfriend I never had. 😀
Love it!
Glad you enjoy their music. That’s why I produce them to help keep HOLLYRIDGE STRINGS alive in my own small way.
The timeless sound of T.H.S. -- God bless these musicians wherever they are and thank you for posting this beautiful music.
@@lostsoul3154 My pleasure. I’ve always been a huge fan of them as well as other instrumental groups and individuals. I post them to keep that music alive. Thank You for watching my channel.
@@crabbymilton390 You are welcome!! Godspeed.
Good Lord, I remember this intro! Even in 1973 (when I was 5 years old), it was considered impressive. 😆
nice song i love it!! :D
Thanks. I have no idea about the title. I ripped it from an industrial video some years ago.
😳
Music by the late, great Ray Ellis
Also did Star Trek the Animated Series.
Was the background supposed to change colors when broadcast?
No. I added the color changes. Thank You for noticing that however.
Cool 😎 video 😊😊😮😮
The MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY is a wonderful museum.
Was this with John Chancellor?
I’m pretty sure it was and perhaps David Brinkley too since they were partners at the anchor desk.
Cool
That was a much better logo by far than that stupid trapezoid.
The 1959-1975 "snake" monogram designed by John J. Graham, who also designed the 1956 and 1962 NBC Peacock logos.
@@robertorick6383 Which also looked better than the current peacock.
@@David-yw2lv True. Both the 1956 "harlequin/diamond" peacock and the 1962 "Laramie" peacock were classic, much better than any other peacock logo they attempted.
А как называется эта красивая мелодия?
Since I can’t find the English translation tab, if you like the video thanks. If not that’s your prerogative.
I found the translation button. That’s WICHITA LINEMAN by 101 STRINGS.
@@crabbymilton390 I thank you for your answer😊😊😊
Cool 😎 video 😮😊
When this theme was in use, NBC had changed its logo from "The Snake" to the trapezoid N.
I knew that but it seemed to fit. Hey, any theme by the late Henry Mancini is a good fit.
@@crabbymilton390 When NBC changed their logo from "The Snake" to the trapezoid N in 1976, NBC was calling their 1975-76 schedule a "Super Season, You're Gonna Like it a Lot". ruclips.net/video/uLhWLQTROXg/видео.html
That A logo was short lived...it lasted only about six and a half years, from May 1956 through November 1962 before being replaced by the Circle logo sometime in December 1962.
This would have been on WITI 6 rather than WDJT 58 back in the day.
You sir have a great memory for such historic info. Actually it may have been WISN 12 since they were the CBS affiliate back in the 1960’s. WISN didn’t become the ABC affiliate until 1977. WITI was CBS from 1959-1961 then from 1977-1994. I could not find any logos from WISN or WITI with the CBS logo from those years when I produced that but that’s why I called it reimagined. I do remember the big affiliate switches back in 1977 and 1994.
Shouldn't it be CBC TV COLOUR PRESENTATION?
Not sure. I figure the British have the market on color as opposed to color.
On the weekends: “NBC Monitor News on the Hour brought to you by Philips Milk of Magnesia. Now, here’s Ray Scherer, NBC News.” ‘Once again, Ray Scherer.” “Listen again on the hour when Wynn’s Friction-Proofing brings you NBC Monitor News.” Regardless of whether the news reader was in New York of DC, the announcer was in New York. For some reason you could audibly hear the announce mic being keyed off. That was how the board was set up at 30 Rock.
In some cases, news readers were either from Chicago or Los Angeles, as well.
Nice.
I bet you weren’t expecting THE MUNSTERS theme. Element of surprise.
I literally came of age to this theme in 1963.
Thrilled to watch Amtrak dashing... i have been just back from America.... 👍
That's why NBC News has better themes than its rivals.
Farewell Bob Goen 1993!
The Original Union Pacific 119 Is Now 120! The Rusty Old Engine!
These were great.
What a load of old shit
I thought it was a good theme from Henry Mancini. Good movie too with a lot of humor mixed in. You have your opinion so that’s your prerogative.
'PromoSM'
Boycott the zoo
ummmmmmmmmmmm wow
Cool 😎 stream 😮😊
????
Outstanding! I miss the original. The 1990s version was ok but never equalled the 1960s show!
They didn't start ABC 70 years in 2013 Also They start 80 years of same network partially. But WABC was start 70 years at march this year earlier.
1948. That’s over 70 years ago.
@@crabbymilton390 it was 75th not 70.
@@S2N2005 Yes I know 1948 is 75 years ago. I didn’t go to government schools so I knew that. I produced this video over 2 years ago so I put in a blanket statement.
I'll take that 436 if you decide to sell it
Thanks but I have absolutely no plans to get rid of it. I’ve been a scanner nut since 1980 and don’t want to be cured. This 436 is the best one I ever had and I have had many.
Frank Blair!
Yes. In the days when the TODAY show actually reported on the news and saved the light hearted segements for a few minutes. Now the whole thing is silly nonsense.
The closing theme was fantastic! I liked the transmitters shown in this video, too. Gotta be at least 1500 feet.
Not sure. That’s not my picture but that’s the FOX6 Milwaukee tower. At one time, it was the largest free standing broadcast tower in the world. It’s in a Milwaukee County park so anyone can walk up and take a photo. I lived in Milwaukee all of my life and have done so several times years ago.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/WITI_TV_Tower
@@crabbymilton390 Just how tall is that Milwaukee tower? I always thought the highest tower in this country was the one in Fargo, ND. It's 2,063 ft. tall.
@@q98rt710 You are correct about that tower in ND in that being the tallest. However the FOX6 tower is still believed to be the tallest three sided free standing tower of its type at 1081 feet. That ND tower requires guy wires. 2k feet is impressive just the same.
Nobody click on this it's just dumb ass clickbait for a guy who put the ABC logo up there and then use the shity Mic to to read a synopsis of an old 60s show. That was owned by cbs not abc
he tried to change her. I didn't like that.
I personally thought Daren’s mother was more difficult than Endora could ever be.

This doesn't make me feel crabby. You are a man of contrasts Milton.
Well some of these songs remind of the wife or girlfriend I never had and/or existed. That can make me crabby.
Good logo that's timeless.
