Arguably the best scene in the entire movie! The amazing Keenan Wynn and James Whitmore really shine in this short and very funny musical number.

Patriots Mac Jones Touchdowns 2022 (with Italian Subs)
This is the Burlington Mall I knew and loved...I was 15 in 1984 (my prime mall years). I fondly remember the two-floor Sears 🙂
Those of us that were lucky to live back then remember it quite well.
Although I have never been to Burlington Mall and I never heard the Department Store, Jordan Marsh, I am a Gen X Baby😃👍🦄💜🌠🌈!!! When I was a kid, I so LOVE going to the Mall with my now Late Dad, now my Late Grandparents, my Mom, and my Brother🤗💜💙💖!! I also LOVED going to the Mall with my Friends🤗💖💙!! The Mall was a lot of fun and full of things to browse and buy🤗🤗!!! I so miss those days😢😢😢🖤🖤💔💔.
The year I was born. My mother was probably still pregnant with me since I was born at the end of 84.
The big takeaway from this is that all shorts were unisex in 1984
I remember it well. I was 22 and going this mall back then was 100% better than what it is now. I'll never go back.
I was 12. Best time to grow up. Gen X, baby!
Half the adults in this video are dead.
good
Damn, maybe they shouldn't have gone to that mall!
@@TomSnyder-gx5ru LOL
It's crazy to think about how many of these folks are deaf now.
It's crazy - I was thinking the same thing. The toddler jumping into the stroller at 0:50 is almost 45 now! 😲
I was 15. Has no idea how good we had it
Okay, I'm from Minnesota and currently live in Sweden. How does the algorithm know that this was a mall that my mom dragged me to as a kid in the late 1980's? Creepy.
Wow those shorts.. Awesome. And look all the women are wearing pants and a dress and the guys are wearing these short shorts. I bet nobody thought those two guys were gay back then. Well now we know.
LOL
The fattest person in this video is smaller than the average person today. What happened?
Packaged processed food. MAWA
plastics it was just starting then
Burlington, MA?
yes. On Route 128 (now I-95)
Thank you! I thought so but I never went when I was a kid. Sure is different now. So many strip malls. So much traffic.
I'm so happy to be part of the last generation to experience life before the nonsense tech we have consuming our lives today
Last generation really suck though. Most people hang based on proximity. Most people back then don't hang with each other anymore.
If only I could be 12 again
Where are all the fat people??
Where’s the kid screaming.
thats the Burlington mall I remember :)
How did the car spin around without reversing?
Well up and at 'em. We're here.
Are the Pointer sisters singing?
😂😂 we live in Chicagoland. I was stationed at Scott AFB basically across the river from STL…I got lost and found myself in East St. Louis just like Clark 🤣😂 oh my gosh was a scared
5:15 LOL 😂
Clark had every reason to be mad when the park was closed
Ed, I'm not your ordinary every day fool,OK. Now I'd like my antartic blue sports wagon rite now.
I don' t wanna drive it. I just want my old car back.
U think u hate it now but wait'll u drive it
"I want more life, Father!"
As stupid as it may sound, an elevator in that? Is it bent as well then, it looks so thin the St. Louis arch. Well OK then, an elevator but then it´s full, completely full.
Another gem from the X generation!

In his final moments, he learns what death really is about (sorrow for Pris), he learns how to cry (the wolf-like howl: before it turns into a hunting howl, of revenge), he learns how to make poetry, how to play with words and images in his mind ('tears in the rain')
Anyone know the name of the movie please????
National Lampoons Vacation (1983).
@bdrmfngms9898 bless you my friend, thank you so much. I appreciate you.
@@darkknight17You're welcome. Enjoy.
Don’t even bother doing a remake….
Dastard!! You are.
i wonder if Roy thought himself to be like Betelgeuse when mentioning the shoulder of Orion, burning out like a more energetic star
To this day i still try to imagine what the car that Clark originally ordered, looked like.
5:00 The Dukes Of Grisworld ¡¡YEHAAAWWWW!!
We're here!
A damn fine car, especially in Metallic Pea
"You think you hate😡it, now ; wait until you drive it.."...😅😂🤣
6:24. I always chuckle at the truckster cutting off the actual car it’s based on.
0:46 now I’m just waiting for the Married WITH CHILDREN to pop up on screen
Love how the Luggage always falls off the roof.

The part where they driver over Poplar (Pothole) Street Bridge always gets me, that's my daily route. It's a lot different now though, with 4 lanes each side.
Well, I'm ready to buy a car from Eugene Levy!🤣
Funniest movie ever. I’m from Oz and always wondered did this car actually exist in USA? Crazy looking 😂
