very nice tractor i have a 674 int lov it but i like yours thanks
Thanks for watching!
Nice video
Thank you!
Excellent choice of colors and video music.
Thanks for watching!
Wish I knew where he found that OEM hornet emblem, I need one and they are impossible
He does some really hard digging! I’m sure it wasn’t easy to get
Look at all those adorable helpers!
They are like great big cats. You can’t do anything without them getting involved and pushing their way in there, but you love them.
Absolutely! They make my day great for sure
You've got to paint it as it came from the factory, Oliver Green, red and yellow so that all the lettering will coordinate. Super 88's are tough. You can't have one running around looking prissy! An 88 was my first tractor right out of highschool. I used to love the sound of that inline six purring away all day in the fields. I loved watching yours come back to life. It brought back a lot of fond memories. But you've got to paint it correctly. You'll be sorry if you don't see that yellow grill in front. Neal
Add Hotchkis suspension and Brembos....
I want one of these in a very bad way. Memories and COOL!
I’m from Golconda since 1947. Wonderful town to grow up in, there was always something going on!! When Golconda has a festival, EVERYONE IN THE COUNTY ATTENDS and people come from all over.!! The people are great, friendly and they will welcome you with open arms!!
Good colors, but you retard-fucked the bump
For a spray bomb paint job ot came out good if you want a more professional looking job using the same paint spend the 2.50 and buy the plastic spray handle that snaps on the can
I did use one for some of it, but it broke and went back to the old finger way lol! But that footage is gone with the GoPro. Thanks for checking it out!
Awesome
Thank you!
Looks fantastic! Especially for a rattlecan job. In my opinion, its hard to have too much chrome on a classic truck, and especially with those hub caps, getting the mirrors and the grill chromed would REALLY pull everything together.
I appreciate it! Definitely beat my expectations for driveway job, it’ll do for a in town cruiser/ farm rig! I’d love to see a chrome grill and I do have west coast mirrors chrome just missing brackets! Thanks for checking it out
@@Thearchivescd absolutely! Its great inspiration for my own project, which the boys and I are just starting to dive into
very nice old classic truck. Not many of those around anymore. Keep it looking good
Thank you!
No hate but you’d be a whole lot cheaper and faster painting with a cheap purple spray gun if you have a decent sized air compressor. To blow the budget throw on a couple coats of SpeedoKote SMR-42 clear coat. It will give the paint durability because in 2 years this will turn chalky.
Yeah, I just wanted something to throw on it quick and we are currently moving shops around, so rattle can it was! Something everyone can do in a driveway without a compressor. I’ll look into the clear though to help! Thanks for the recommendation man!
Great job something a lot of people can afford.
Thank you!
Long format videos are what RUclips wants. From start to finish-ish in one vid with lots of run time!! Show people how ya do it! Good lookin truck!
Thanks! I have a long version of the interior on its way soon! Sadly, most of the exterior is gone…. More to come on this rig
Fantastic job!!
Thank you!
Ah, she's a beauty!! I am SO jealous! I live in the same little town you do so if I see you in town I'm gonna yell out Dreamcicle!
I dig the truck!!
I like that guy's hair ❤😊
The track frames are discontinued good luck finding one
I need a grain bin roof to build a gazebo!! Never seen a grain bin burrito before. Good job David!!!
Hope your lungs don't have a patina on them.....probably should wear a respirator when using a spray on two part coating. Cool truck though, looking forward to more content on it.
Yeah, once I started I made sure to put a few fans and doors wide open! But absolutely need a respirator. Normally have it for spraying, but just didn’t have it down at the shop this time! Thanks for watching!
that stuff did an amazing job. That is one sharp blazer, definitely a keeper. Glad to see you making content again.
I did better than I thought and dried pretty hard! Thanks for checking it out! Definitely more content on the way
Hey that guy took my mask
It's sad to watch all that work the beaver done has gone Those dams are useful for many living species GOD didn't create this in vain. There must be a purpose for all that work the beavers are doing
Very educational, 👍
Big thanks, bro.🙌
Great job. My Grandfather was in the crowd on the day of the hanging. We live just six miles south. The only thing I saw that you might want to correct, is the map you showed of Marion County, IL. Marion, IL is in Bloody Williamson County. You'll get a better picture of the small towns, villages and creeks with a Williamson County map.
It looks like Mist Green. Oliver when they came out with the 880 painted of a few of them Mist Green to advertise their new helical cut gears. It wasn't a huge hit with people😂 So it looks like that, not terrible😂
Yeah, I just told them to mix an 88 Oliver paint, and this is what we got lol but it’s green I guess! Have to spend some time soon repainting for sure.
An interesting video with a good storyline. However, this production suffers in three major ways. The first is the producer's dependence on a camera mounted microphone. Nothing screams "amateur" like the reliance on this type of microphone. They provide inconsistent coverage and are simply harder to hear. Invest in a couple of wireless mics and see how this subtle change will Improve your presentation The second change I would suggest is to reduce your reliance on the gimbal you use. They have their place particularly in wide, sweeping shots but using it for every closeup is tiring and can almost create a seasick like effect for your viewers. Instead, mix your longer shots with some B roll edited in later. This will break up the long shots and keep your audience attentive. Lastly, you have to provide some supplemental lighting. While the imaging sensors in today's cameras are remarkably sensitive in low light conditions, additional light sources will provide depth and clarity. As one final suggestion, if you plan to possibly develop a RUclips career you should invest in a real camera rather than relying on that cell phone you are currently using ( yes, I could tell )! I would suggest a used Canon, Nikon or Panasonic product one or two generations back. Attach it to a shoulder mount made by a company called Small Rig. With a decent lens you will have a device that far exceeds the specifications of the $30,000 television news camera I lugged around 25 years ago.
Les quedo muy bien, Felicidades 🎉
Great video man reminds me of when i did my 1954 fordNAA im only 35 great think to know how to do my grandfather passed away few months ago . He be really happy to see his tractor run again
My first thought was that it could be saved and then, like you said, I saw it was too far gone. Glad you got something out of it to keep and reuse. The video was excellent. Best I've seen. You've got a great eye.
This is a great idea, a mini-farm!
I absolutely love this and love you putting them back together.
Nice looking Oliver Meadow, green and clover.White, it would look sharp. Nice job though
My shirt still has some of that green paint on it. I call it the Oliver edition shirt. 😂😅
A Russian-Jew involved in organized crime! Shocking.
Love the Oliver, it will be a classic when you get it re-painted. Not many of those left around. Love the animals too.
I feel for you. I'm in the process of repainting my Oliver 1365 and I can attest to how much work it takes to strip, prep and paint a tractor.
One of my great Uncles was part of his gang He was one of the guys on that car . I cant remember if he was Spot or Harry . Who had him hanged was a crooked country Shariff belonged to another gang of Franklin County .
Had a 75 sportabout same color loved it!!!
They are pretty unique rides! Thanks for watching
I'm not its master but I am its owner got me.
I'm 71 and totally enjoyed this video. Listening to Bob with all of his knowledge was outstanding.
Thank you for watching! Bob definitely is a gem to Benton with his knowledge (he has some awesome stories and wisdom about a lot of things)
Just Gorgeous!! My best friend's mother grew up in that house!
@@spevman that’s awesome! It is a beautiful place. Thank you for watching!
If this guy was so popular, maybe they should’ve kept him alive instead of killing him?
