DoC Team Skills

These videos have been created by 2nd Year students of the Department of Computing (DoC) at Imperial College London as part of a Team Skills Development workshop.
The activity involves creating a DoC focused micro-documentary on a set theme, such as:
"The 3 things I wish I'd known about..."
or
"The 5 best things about..."
with the students left to fill in the blanks.
The activity lasts just 3 hours, in which time they must design, film, edit, export and submit their work.
We think that the results are very impressive, especially given the tight time-line.
Please note that the videos on this page do not reflect the opinions of Imperial College London or its employees.

You said come to imperial but my Friend does 4 Alevel with expectetion 2 a star and 2a ielts 8.0 and high as points but he rejected :/
I'm predicted A*A*AA as well and just got an offer to study Physics Msci there 2 days ago for 2020 entry. But I'm a native speaker, I doubt that his Ielts score let him down. Generally international students are marked harsher (unless I'm wrong), but that's the same everywhere in the world. What course did he apply for?
Dear Alp. Tell you friend to try different top UK schools imperial comes about 3 to 5th. He may even try Oxford. Those are stellar (excellent) A level scores . They may take him or her. Seen were people get rejected in low ivy League schools but get accepted in higher Ivy League schools more prestigious than the one they got rejected from. Good luck trying. Keep up the hard work and also to your friend. Let this rejection not stop you or your friend.

Yeah it is. I think geology is always being made fun of and seen as boring or not proper science, since it's kind of to do with the study of rocks.

As a geology imperial student I can testify-- everyone wishes that they had done geology instead. Memes aside, we have a great department that spreads out deadlines and actually responses to any complaints (room is too cold, not enough desk space), we get overseas field trips, the coolest building on the campus, near zero work load.. Meanwhile our huxley pals are constantly suffering in the basement. Also the parkour society does indeed exist. They do cool things, go check them out.
